Went and ate here for 1st time in a long time and wonder why I haven't ate there more often love the 2 for 6 tenderloin sandwich and the waitress was awesome , ordered fast food received fast, food niçe and hot. There was nothing to complain about. Even had left overs for dinner and prices are good!
Fast , friendly and yes delicious food. Had cheese burger with fries, cooked fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely return for seconds and most definitely recommend this place. I'm picky with my burgers no complaints here, Come get your grub on you won't be disappointed.

Bra! This place is simple diner mad American cuisine at its finest. Super affordable, all food good, portions decent. I only gave it a 4 star because I ordered the coney, and the dog was super slim, more bread than dog but the place is family oriented and owned. They're all sweet and feels welcoming
Awesome place. Old time diner. Server goes to the vehicle to get your order. Picnic area. You can order at the window and the server bring your order to the picnic area. Pork tenderloin, fried pickles and potato salad was delicious. Jumbo hamburger and potato salad was delicious.
They could definitely use some improvements/updates, but the food is fantastic for the price. This is my dad's favorite stop in the area I live. He regularly calls me to meet him here over the multitude of other places there are to eat here. I've convinced him to go elsewhere once 😅
This is an old time place, and even the prices represent that. It's a drive-in, so the atmosphere is what you make it as you sit in your vehicle. The food is great, my coworkers and I get lunch here at least once a week. Try it and support family owned.
I've never been to Mel's till tonight but it's by far my new favorite place to eat. The server was very friendly and the food was excellent. I will be going back there every time I get the opportunity.
Oh man...definitely the best grilled tenderloin sandwich ever....that ham and cheese roll is pretty amazing as well. I’ll go here every time I’m in Indy....you gotta try it.

Ordered the special 2 for $6 breaded tenderloin, they were great. 16oz sweet tea made this a great choice.
A solid 4. Burger was good, a little smaller than I expected but taste was good. Fries seem like an after thought. Chocolate shake was really good.
Mel’s may not look like anything special on the outside but please don’t let that keep you from eating there! Mel’s is hands down the best little place to eat! Excellent service (especially Kayla and Macy) and the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Best freshly made burgers, delicious fries
I like the BLT and their fries. They taste better than McDonald's. It's cheap and delicious.

Fantastic place to eat the food is superb, and honestly seeing the food ideas in the reviews has given me an idea Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings on the burger with BBQ always next time. Eat Ya Later
