Delicious surprise. After driving by the Taco/burrito place for umpteenth time, I finally stopped on with my girlfriend. The chorizo torta and the chicken tacos were excellent and the price was right too. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items. Staff was friendly also.
Fantastico!. I love this place, I love these people, I love their food! I added a pic of their Flautas plate, one of my favorites to order there. Flautas are not the easiest thing in the world to make, so these often take time for Pablo to make, but I think they're worth the wait - I get chicken flautas usually. I like extra-messy food so I order their tostadas too, either beef&bean or chorizo& been - geez I wish I stopped there tonite!
There's a reason this place has a 95%. Because it is WONDERFUL. Looks like an abosolute dive, which makes it PERFECT.

Best Mexican food in Indy!!. I love this place! The food is amazing and the owners are the nicest people...Pablo is alway cheerful and willing to make stuff any way you like. I love the steak tacos, but after having the veggie tacos i may have a new favorite!
they cater, and even make special requests at times....ask them for the "memo special" (steak and peppers) you wont be disappointed!
The owners, Pablo an Grace, are wonderful people that make incredible food. Everything on the menu is really good but my faves are the super nachos, tacos, quesadillas and tamales.

Small operation the decor is old used restaurant, in a word "DIVE" the smells and the flavors will keep you coming back and waiting. You will wait...because it's made to order.
Your in a hurry...do one of two things, chill or go elsewhere.

Great food, Great service. I had the great pleasure of eating there a couple of days ago and I was very pleased I can't recall the name of the chef but he is really a friendly person makes you feel like your eating in a place where they actually care about you being pleased with the food. He made me laugh so much , I truly want to go again but this time I will make sure to bring my wife! As far as the food goes best taco place around for miles. Fresh tomatoes , lettuce , chicken, mmm delicious! Truly I recommend it! Cheers

Great Food From People Who Care. From the moment you walk in, you notice the care that is put in from the intoxicating aromas pouring out from the freshly prepared ingredients to the hand-painted signs. You are happily greeted by a "hola amigo, what can we make for you today?" This is done by either one or both of the owners, who are not only a husband and wife team, but are also the restaurant's only employees. I might also add that they do this seven days a week for their customers. I decided to go basic for the first run and order a couple of tacos (two WILL fill you up but go for the gusto if your gut can take it). I ordered a carne asada and a pollo and each with the works. The meats went to the griddle along with the fresh-made tortillas for a few mintues and then were topped with lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream and salsa. I was in and out with my order in under five minutes, which goes to show you that there is an astonishing difference between fast-food and food that is prepared quickly but with great care. You taste the difference in the first bite and will still taste it on the last bite. The taste lingered on my tongue so much that I was back the next day for more (I would have gone back the same day and even thought about changing clothes so they did not think I was coming in twice in one day, but I am sure they would appreciate it anyway). It is my hope that places like this and people like this are aptly rewarded for the time and dedication put into everything they do. Que buen comida!
Love the food here!!! Some of the best salsa I’ve had. El pastor is really good!! To good to take home so eat there. Always good customer service as well.

Yum! Was looking for a good place to stop for some unique Mexican food. Taco and Burrito Place had great reviews so we gave it a try. It certainly did not disappoint! I ordered the Pork Carnitas Burrito. The pork was tender, the filling was flavorful and the wrap was grilled and crisp. The mild salsa had a great flavor. I added it to the top of the burrito. My husband had a chicken and a pork taco. He enjoyed the freshly made soft corn taco shell. The shredded chicken was put on the grill before adding it to the taco which enhances the flavor. Nice little taco place!
These are the best tacos in Indy. I usually take them out and they are still good when I get home. In inside seating are is very small, would only eat in on a lunch break. Employees are so friendly and remember repeat customers. Also a great price.
Great burrito and taco! Large burrito is 10” according to the cashier and the street taco was a good size as well.
The best food for a super affordable price, staff has an amazing positive attitude and everyone is so happy to be eating the best tacos around! I have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for food and usually it is 5 minutes. A must try for anyone in the area whether it's a quick lunch or a large to go order
Ordered two Al pastor tacos and a carnitas burrito. Al pastor was heavily marinated with a great flavor. Very friendly staff and quick turnover between ordering and getting food. Burrito did fall apart pretty quickly after first few bites which wasn’t great given the grease but flavor made up for it.
I had the steak nachos. Delicious!!! No beans. Great food fast service great price. Whatsnot to love??? Best Mexican in this part of town. Maybe all of town. Thanks guys!!!
This is a place where you go for the food, not the atmosphere. And it's worth it!! Excellent cuisine and, considering the long line to order, I thought they had quick service, too.
The restaurant, itself, is bare-bones, but as already stated, this place was recommended to me for the food. And judging by the line, I think a lot of people agree that the food is the star of this show.
Definitely recommend if you're looking for great Mexican food.
Taco and Burrito Place is an absolute hidden gem. By far one of the best burritos in town. It’s possible you would drive by it because it is not the flashiest exterior. But you would be making a mistake if you didn’t try at least once the burrito or the tacos. This is a must visit. The food is delicious, economical, great home family vibe. You will be full and satisfied. I highly recommend it.
