A really great spot which was easy to find. I like how the store is laid out as the staff makes it easy for them to help you and discuss what you make be looking for or like there. There was a lot of sampling which they even had some mixing of both oils and vinegars. I was personally thrilled to have found some coffee related spices and balsamic vinegars! The costumer service was amazing and I really enjoy my experience, I will definitely be coming back to try more and get more!!!

this is one of the best spice shops in the United States. For a while I lived far away from here so I was only able to come here a few times. As we are beginning our RV adventure I made sure that we stopped in here and I purchased pretty much every single spice I will ever need that I typically use from a to z including some oils so we could be freshly started on our new trip. Mason the employee who was new but amazing very helpful very knowledgeable excellent excellent employee. This is where you want to shop to get all of your needs everything is very fresh they are very friendly and the prices are very very very reasonable.
Excellent people and products.
I learn something every time I go in there
This is probably one of the my favorite places in Indianapolis to go 2. It's just an incredible store and we are so fortunate to have it here. As a chef I use their vinegars and oils for my catering and they are amazing. I took my friend next door and took her up there and now she's all excited
Charming owner, eclectic variety of EVO's, aged Balsamic vinegars, local honey and incredible specialty gifts! What a treasure~💫
I'd drive the 30 minutes plus to the store on at least a monthly basis to get fresh Spices, oils, and vinegars. I eat a very clean diet with lots of food sensitivities and trust Artisanos foods to add flavor and nutrients safely. The owner is a font of information. Love talking to him!
I bought their Tuscan herb EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and their 18 year aged balsamic vinegar. I am blown away by the quality of their products. I used a 375 mL container of their EVOO in 7 days. Their olive oils are delicious on salads and can be a standalone dressing. I mean you can pour their EVOO and a pinch of salt and pepper on a salad and it tastes better than half of the dressings on the market. I'm looking forward to making a balsamic dressing with some fresh garlic, lemon, Tuscan Herb EVOO, and Balsalmic vinegar.
I have to say I was very impressed with the wide selection of items in their store. They must have over 90 varieties of oils and vinegars to choose from and you really can't go wrong with any of them. The owner really knows his stuff. He makes wonderful recommendations if you feel a bit intimidated at making a choice. I plan to grab several large bottles of EVOO this Thanksgiving when I head home to bring to my parents and siblings. I have already decided that this year for Christmas my stocking stuffer for my friends/family will be this EVOO! I highly recommend this store!
We love this shop and always buy our oil and vinegar here. It is especially important to my husband and me to get good quality olive oil (which Artisano's has) because of the health benefits as well as the taste. Have also gotten our sea salt here for years. The service is great as well!
The person running the store was so nice. She answered all our questions and let us try many samples. The prices are not too high and I would recommend this shop. I don't think you will be sorry
This is one of my favorite places to get supplies for cooking! As an amateur chef of Italian heritage, high-quality olive oil is a crucial element to my meals. They have so many varieties here, it is hard to know where to start! They allow shoppers to taste the oils before buying as well. They also offer herbs & spices and other supplies, such as salt boards and mortar-and-pestle sets.
I live in the country about an hour and a half away and one of the only reasons I go back into Indy is for a spice, vinegar and oil run.
Everyone there knows what’s up when it comes to everything in the store. It can be overwhelming, so if you don’t know what to get just ask them what they would put in their home pantry and ....boom you just took your cooking to the next level!
If you walk out of there without buying something, you need to have your head examined.
Absolutely love Artisano's. I first "discovered" them at a booth at the farmer's market. I tell everyone I can that they need to check out the variety of oils, vinegar and spices in the store. I will never buy prepare vinaigrette again when I can make it fresh and suited specifically for the salad I am making (blueberry citrus or garlic with grilled lemon, etc)
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of spices, herbs, oils, and vinegars to make your own mixes with or you can try their pre-mixed options as well. They also have great finishing salts and sugars. You buy by the ounce for spices or (from what I could see) mL for oils and vinegars.
We were already fans of the product having bought it at local farmers markets. But the store has a a wider variety of options than I have ever seen at a farmers market. Oils, vinegars, spices, cutlery, gift bags and more. Most important the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
They are having different bacon each month. This month is Bill-E's Small Batch Bacon from Alabama. Had a small sample is was good looking forward to breakfast tomorrow morning.
I love coming here! My house is literally full of their oils and vinegars. If you like cooking, this is the place for you and definitely try their lime salt!
