Great food and good value! Portions were generous. Sauces were thick without being oily or fatty. The rice is fluffy and fragrant without having an overwhelmingly bland flavor. As a first-timer, wasn't sure if they'd honor their special that offers a bonus item with purchases over a certain price if I didn't ask for it, but they did! Ordering between the lunch and dinner rushes, was surprised that I had to wait when I arrived; but, it didn't take long, and the service was friendly. Looking forward to ordering from here again!

Driven past it 10 years decided to try it because the Chinese Restaurant near my home is horrible. King Dragon wildly exceeded expectation on my first order of Black Pepper Chicken. Chicken bites with tasty with good amount of pepper accompanied by square cut green pepper and onion bites which were cooked leaving a little bite. The sauce was excellent. On my second visit I ordered the coconut chicken. It's good on its own but I added some Thai Curry paste I had in the fridge and it was even better. Got the cold sesame noodles for lunch tomorrow. It's been 20 years since I found a Chinese takeout that made them. Only $6! King Dragon is now my favorite hole-in-wall Chinese takeout. The only thing that could make it better is if was by my house. Still it's worth the drive. I ate the cold sesame noodles the next day and found them to be perfect. Huge portion was enough for 2 meals!

Let me start off by saying that I had extremely low expectations for this place, however, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The lady working the cash register was friendly, food was hot and fresh, portion sizes were more than generous and the prices were super cheap. This isn't fine dining by any means, but a great go to for Chinese take out..General Tsos chicken, egg rolls, and Pad thai were great. Will be back..

I love the food here! One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food has always been delicious and great portion sizes. This time I got the fried dumplings and combination general tsaos chicken. So good!

Just got a huge portion of egg fried rice. Wok hei (breath of the wok) is delicious here. Rice had lots of flavor. I got steamed dumpling too which is delicious. Was very fresh and good, thank you king dragon.🐉

My husband orders the same thing on the two same days every week and has been for like a year. I’m pretty sure the lady who takes his order is his best friend. One time he changed his order slightly and she called him back and said “I think I heard you wrong.” In all seriousness, it’s a family run business, they work hard, they make good food. No fuss, nothing fancy, just good fresh food.

If you are looking for a Chinese takeout with great value you for your money, look no further. My wife and I order the lunch specials at least once a week. Some of our favorites are the Mongolian dishes with any protein of your choice, bourbon chicken which is reminiscent of Char Siu (Chinese BBQ) and Garlic chicken. We always choose the side of soup which all are spiced well.

Straight forward tasty basic Chinese food , the same old salty & fatty food it's always been ( it's not Thai , Japanese or Vietnamese ) but occasionally it will do !

I really like this place. It's the only Chinese takeout in town (that I've found) that has duck on the menu regularly! The General Tso's and other staple dishes are serviceable, but not exemplary, and prices are within an acceptable range of what you would expect to find from similar restaurants in the city. We have experienced some minor issues on a few previous visits when making requests for minor alterations, such as asking that peas be withheld from the house special fried rice. Sometimes we get what we asked for, sometimes not. Sidenote, the majority of Chinese takeout places in Indy will ordinarily include spicy mustard packets along with soy and duck sauce, but that hasn't been my experience here. If you like to give your rice a bit of a kick, make sure to specifically ask for it.

great food. when i was told its 30$ for general tso with a side of chicken lo mein i was a little incredulous. then i was handed enough food to feed 8 people. a lot of mexican joints are like this. not really a bad thing because the quality is good. but if youre only ordering for 2 people emphasize youd like a lunch special size or whatever.
