I love this place! I have yet try anything that I didn't think tasted fantastic. The owner is a really nice guy and every member of staff has been friendly and professional. Their chicken is on some other level. I hear people always say they love XYZ chicken chain and this is SO much better. It's made when you order it, so it's absolutely fresh. Their sides are awesome too; I personally love the fries the best. They keep changing their hours slightly to best optimize when they are open and when people come in to eat. Many people don't realize that the catering company next door is actually his main business. He opened the store because people were demanding it so often so please take that into consideration when you look at the hours and overall appearance of the store. They have maybe 10 seats total but that's because most people grab it and go or order ahead. Either way, this place is an absolute must try!

Absolutely delicious! This was our 1st time ever eating Chick-A-Boom and I would highly recommend trying it! So so good! And the restaurant in which I purchased was absolutely awesome for their kind service, and for letting I and my little girl sit quietly by ourselves in the back and served us chips, salsa and a coke for FREE while we waited for our food! In which they didn’t have to do! But did it just to be nice! So while we waited for our delicious, fresh,hot yummy food, my daughter and I got to hang out and just enjoy each other’s company which made the wait time so worth it! Truly meant a lot! I highly recommend this place not just for the delicious food but also for great AMAZING SERVICE, in which is so very rare and hard to find these days! So thank you Chick-A-Boom for the amazing hospitality and delicious wonderful food!
My husband’s company ordered chicken for a lunch, so that’s how I knew about this place, but this was my first time dealing directly with the restaurant and from the young woman I dealt with on the phone, to the person who carried my order to the car, to the owner, everything was wonderful!
I picked up 40 jumbo tenders the Saturday before the race at 11:30. The chicken was piping hot and the sauces were wonderful, especially the boom-boom sauce. Great quality all around for the price.
Chick-A-Boom is definitely our go to chicken place from now on!
Absolutely love the food here! It was my boyfriend and I first time trying their buffalo bowl, and man was it yummy. The lady that was working has such a great attitude which made the experience even better. This place is a must try.
Our first time at Chick-A-Boom. The chicken tacos were very good 👌. The chicken combo meal was excellent. The chicken has a wonderful flavor. Meater than KFC'S. They offer take-out, dine in, or delivery. We will be going back!
They have a great menu and fair prices! We love the bourbon Sriracha sauce :) Great customer service and Jewel is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for delicious food and overall great experience.
Stopped in for lunch w a cpl of work associates and all three of us thought it was great!! We loved the fresh tasting chicken, yummy large sides, unique dipping sauces and the great service!! I'm going to have them cater my son's open house!!
The double breaded, soft fried chicken tenders are the best I’ve had in Indy. I would definately try the different dipping sauces...Sriracha Mayo and boom boom sauces are great. Love the Mac n Cheese and potatoes and gravy as well. Great job folks!
Holy smokes is this chicken next level. Eat it at the restaurant right after it gets out of the fryer and your eyes will roll back into your head. Sides are great, but what really shines is the Sriracha Bourbon sauce. It's seriously addicting. Please, tell everyone about this place, I will protest if it ever shuts down.
In my opinion, the BEST fried chicken in or around Indianapolis. I think one of their major advantages is that though it is fried, chicken is always moist, which other restaurants (fast food and dining) can't seem to accomplish. Chick a Boom way outperforms the fried chicken food category and is a true treasure for Indianapolis!
Stumbled upon this place on accident and I'll tell you what. This is the best chicken deal around. The chicken is so crispy and perfect its worth every penny. Since the first time I had it about a week ago until now I've eaten there 4 times.
I didn't stop in there today. I was at Mexico City grill and it was excellent!! But the aroma coming from chick-a-boom was heavenly to say the least. I'm going to try it soon so I'll keep you posted!!!
