Wonderful find today! This was our 1st time trying El Salvadorian food and we were not disappointed! The "3 in 1" name refers to Vegetarian, El Salvador, & Mexican food. We tried the Tostones for our appetizer, which are smashed, fried plantains with the BEST refried beans I have had in a LONG time (like decades!), pickled red onions, & cotija cheese. We shared 3 different Papusas, which come with an interesting slaw on the side. I don't generally like cole slaw, but this had a unique flavor (and crunch) to it. They also brought out 3 different salsas- mild (a little sweet- fruity (maybe mango)), medium (green- our fave), and hot. The hot sauce would be my only complaint - I LOVE heat, but this had more of the "chemical burn" flavor, which (in my opinion) takes away from the flavor of the food. They also have thoughtful touches in the restaurant - like the purse holders at each table & a cell phone shelf in the restrooms (above the TP).
I was so excited to come here! Especially without the kids, since they’re picky and annoying.
There’s so much vegan/vegetarian optional food and it’s discounted on Thursday so that was convenient. The tostones were so freaking good. Crispy, crunchy, and delicious. Even the beans were fantastic, maybe the best beans of my life…
Corn nuggets were so much better than I expected. Sweet with a salty hit from the cheese. So light and fluffy and crispy and perfect. Street corn was totally legit. The Takis shoved in were a nice addition of flavor. Vegan tamale was good, maybe too much masa, but that’s pretty common around here.
Staff were super friendly. Pretty cozy and quiet dining area for sitting.
Overall, it was great.
First time having pupusas. Fantastic! Would definitely come back for a burrito. Food here looks really fresh and dressed up. 5 stars
Outstanding! Great place for having a little something familiar and maybe a little something new. The chicken tamale was great - just moist enough and every part had good flavor. The chicken papusa was good on its own but add a little coleslaw to it and you get a different experience. Next time I'm trying the fried tamale pieces with powdered sugar.
Found this place just scrolling on Happy Cow since my wife is vegan and thought we would give it a try. I never turn down a chance to eat pupusas and it’s rare to find vegan ones for her. It’s a cute little restaurant in a shopping center. The food was delicious. So much flavor packed into each pupusa and they’re a good size too. I had the asada and cheese along with the revuelto (a classic). She had the veggie, loroco and the Korean which was her favorite and even I was surprised at how good it was. The customer service was also sensational. It was just two people working front of house and they were on top of it. Every time something was empty on the table they were there almost immediately to refill or take it away.
Wow, this place was great! I was so impressed with all of the vegan options. I ordered the vegan quesadilla with “steak” & onions - it was fantastic. The server was polite & professional. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious, it was so hot and fresh! The pupusa, empanadas and the tamale were the best I’ve ever had.
The food was excellent. We ordered from the vegan menu. The portions were tiny so we were a bit disappointed. But the fantastic food made up for it. Next time we will just order more.
Amazing vegan options! I had a "steak and onion" burrito that was so flavorful. If I didn't order it myself, I would have thought I was eating real steak!
The service was incredible and they were able to answer all of my questions and make suggestions on what to get. 10/10 highly recommend. Definitely will visit again next time I am in Indianapolis
The pupusas here are amazing! Not too greasy, and good flavor (I got the chorizo con queso). I also got the cheesy ground beef taco, which was also good. My husband said the tamales were the best he's ever had at a restaurant - and he knows his tamales. Friendly staff and a comfortable space to enjoy a lunch. Please support this local family owned and operated restaurant!
The love and care is apparent here. Our plant-based group visited here because it is one of those rare places that thinks of the dairy and meat free life. They offered me a vegan menu when I walked to the counter (do we have an ethereal glow? Who can tell?) And service was fast, food was hot and served with a friendly face. I also thought it was cool to see the different areas blocked off for extra privacy which was great for discussion.
Absolutely delicious!! A true hidden gem - don’t sleep on Salvadorian food folks!! And they have beer 🍻!!! Ready to get fat off these empanadas 💛
Great little gem. People rave about the Mexican food in soCal but this place is excellent, unique and in a great location.
I’ve tired a lot on their menu and it’s all been good
I'm from Florida so I've eaten a ton of authentic Hispanic food. I've also eaten a lot of vegan foods. Your restaurant is amazing. I would marry the vegan steak and onion pupusa if it became a human.
Best vegan food ever! Best part is they have wide variety of vegan dishes on their menu! Loved every bit of it.
The Vegan Al Pastor was amazing!!! Honestly, we tried everything, and it was all spectacular. We'll definitely be coming back here!
I loved the atmosphere and their food was delicious! I ordered the vegan pupusa and the empanadas!
