We’ve been to so many Mexican restaurants throughout the desert. Yes, many are higher end and more trendy, but if you want the best down to earth, home style Mexican, this is the best spot. It’s a little run down, but who really cares. It’s all about the food and this place is fantastic. The Molcajete is spicy and addictive.
The food and service are consistently excellent. The Camarones Galicia is their signature dish and not to be missed. Hugo always does a great job of providing attentive efficient service with a smile even when the restaurant is very busy. He remembers us and that connection keeps us coming back. The entire staff went the extra mile last night for our little birthday party!
Party of 14 please! We had a great time! Food was alright lack of flavor the Margarita were loaded!! Service was good atmosphere was okay it was go in the area we sat but once we hit the fan it was all good 😊
I went in the morning for lunch (I'm a construction worker) but the place looked like it got really live at night. There was a stage and people were coming in left and right and reserving seats. So I'm confident that this place has great entertainment, apart from his fantastic food.... The beans Were some of the best I've ever tasted!👌

The service was awesome. The owner came out and was very accommodating to my gluten allergy. The food was excellent. The best rice and beans ever. With no lard. 😁

Great authentic Mexican food and the music is great. I saw pictures that show that this restaurant and the adjacent property used to be a resort. I'm sure the furniture is from that era. It's a bit pricey but I guess you have to pay for the music so oh well
The food was good, but the best part of this restaurant was the live musician. He was GREAT! Super talented guitarist. He played the oldies and classic songs. Something for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of parking.
I loved this restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the quality of service and food were out of this world. Mercedes was an excellent server. I will definitely be coming back.
We tried Campechana (seafood cocktail) , Camapechana Galicia, and combination plate with beef enchiladas. All were delicious but Campechana and Campapechana Galicia was incredibly delicious!!! My coworker in Los Angeles who is a Latin decent recommended me this place and he was right!!! You cannot miss this restaurant if you like Mexican food. The best Mexican food I’ve ever had in California.
Don’t Judge this restaurant by its exterior. Great Food, Great Service, Guacamole was Fresh and delicious, House made chips and taco shells!!
Stop here everytime we drive by on the way to the coast or back! Great food, good portions and usually have some type of entertainment which provides a great atmosphere for dinner!
Delightfully surprised at this restaurant. Pride shows in every asset of this place. Quaint little building, clean, clean, clean. Food is prepared with love. Good portions, great prices. Wait staff is attentive and upbeat. Easy on and off the expressway. Highly recommend.
