Food was great especially appetizer burgers (the one on the picture), and ribeye!
One thing that I DISAPPOINTED was the food was leaked when I order delivery. I contacted Iowa Chop House, but they did not reply anything after they check my message.
But dine in food was great and servers were nice as well:)
Excellent food and service. Came in after an Iowa Homegame for date night with my wife. Made reservations ahead of time and they were quick to make sure they sat reservations first as they had plenty of walk-in patrons. Food was excellent. Lots of delicious side dishes to compliment the meats. Fantastic beer choices as well. Angel was our server and she was noticeably busy but efficient and very nice. Will go again for sure.

Great place in downtown for meat lovers and large groups. Would recommend making a reservation in advance for big groups.
I was surprised at how big the place is on the inside because it looks like a small place at first glance from outdoors. Nice Hawkeye decorations all over. I thought the place was too dark for my liking, but that’s just a personal preference.
A bit pricey, but worth the splurge for the taste and size of the dishes. Everything our group order tasted fabulous, and can be shared.
For appetizers, would recommend the Kale & Artichoke Dip, and the Mini Beef Wellingtons. The dip was just so full of flavor, and the Wellingtons were just the right amount of pastry and beef to not be too much before a meal.
Main dishes our group loved: Bison Burger and the Rack of Lamb. The meat was just so moist and the flavor was on point.
The Salmon Filet tasted good, but overall the whole dish was too salty.
Tried the Apple Pie and the Tiramisu desserts. In my opinion they were not bad (a tad sweet for the pie and a tad bitter for the Tiramisu). Again very good portion to share between 2-3 people.
Great place! We ordered The Scottish and Bison Burger, both were cooked spot on. I was leery about ordering salmon. So many places over cook and dry it out. Not here! The same can be said for Bison. It's a fine line between done and hockey puck. We were pleased to find that Iowa Chop House doesn't cross that line! Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent steak and burgers, wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and excellent service. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and high quality locally sourced menu items. My girlfriend and I had the best experience at the Iowa Chop house. Will definitely be back!
