Went for lunch yesterday! Wasn’t busy when we came in by the time we left if was PACKED! The server was amazing the owner was awesome and joked around! Such an easy going environment! Will definitely be returning!!! Oh and I’ll say that the amount of food for the price is AMAZING as well!!!

When I lived in IC, shorts east was my go to for food and beer. I moved to Chicago and hadn’t been able to return since Covid. That was until Monday.
I was able to go! Big props to the bartender and all the other staff. The food was as excellent as I remember. Can’t wait til I can visit again!

They have amazing burgers, and service is always excellent! I love that this Short’s is so close to neighborhoods, making it a perfect go to place for food that is always dependable and enjoyable. The burger selection is the same menu as their downtown Iowa City location and they are made just as well. Servers are also very attentive and seem to enjoy working here too. During the summer months, they have a small outdoor patio seating section to use. I love the environment of this place, and can’t say enough how good it is to have it in the area!

Great fries! However, my chicken sandwich was very dry and our burger was semi overcooked. Otherwise, large burger, sandwich and other selection.
