Were from Houston and moved to cedar Rapids. Have not yet had a legit mexican food dinner, until now. The food was awesome! Will definitely be back

I so miss this resturant! Come to Des Moines or move a sister shop up here from the Coralville or Cedar Rapids stores! Your family kicks every other joints ass in IOWA! LOVE THIS PLACE!

When you drive by or walk in it looks like a suburban fake Mexican place, but it’s not. The service, food and patrons were authentic! Dinner is a little spendier than a mom and pop, but not bad.
We walked over from the hotel for super on 5/20/22. The server was a young man, he was very courteous and prompt with drinks and chips and salsa.
The food was very good, I had the shrimp and rice which was fantastic. We had a group of 7 and they treated us great and our food and drinks came quick.

We both had the diabla plates tilapia and shrimp OMG sooooo good we are from Wisconsin so new to the area but hands down had a great experience and super enjoyed the food

I liked it, server was most helpful, to be honest I'm out of my depth with Mexican food but the server was first class, meal was way above my expectations.
I should've quit while in front, but I finished with fried ice cream, I have no doubt it was a weeks worth of calories but oh so worth it
It has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant. Their wait staff is the best.
Food is great and the servers were very friendly, our server even made rounds and alerted all his tables he was going on break which was incredibly nice
