D.p. Dough - Iowa City - Photo album

The calzones were very good. Except they ripped me off for all of my extra sauces that I paid for and I didn’t get them. After waiting an hour. This one is going down to the middle of the deck at best. Come on dp dough—don’t show up to my house without my extra ranch and marinara.
"Dough" in the name is a big tip off, because the calzones are mostly dough. I had a spinach and ricotta one and it had one tiny layer of spinach leaves and no ricotta that I could see. Usually you get a thick layer of chopped spinach and ricotta. Lots of mozzarella though. But it was just mostly do
Didn't feel like cooking and this definitely hit the spot. I had the spinner rolls (favorite item I ordered), as well as the chicken parmazone which was pretty good because it cheesy and not dry since it had marinara on it.
I went there last night wanting a calzone. It was busy, so the wait was fine and expected, but after the long wait, I end up getting the wrong calzone. Sadly, I tipped before I got my meal, but after waiting for an hour and getting the wrong calzone, I was not happy. I use to love this place, but do
The seating is not comfortable, but the items offered are good and creative.
Great calzones and fast delivery! if you're looking for a late night snack, this is one of the places that's open latest in Iowa City!
I love DP Dough and have had amazing experiences each time I order from the one in Iowa City. I am a regular customer and utilize their website for ordering. They have updated their website and it is easy to use. Each employee is very nice. Overall great food, great service- couldn’t be happier.
The service and seating could have been better but the food more than made up for that. Most amazing calzone I've ever had.
