Visiting Iowa on a college visit. Food was okay. Super basic. Nice big portions, but not as flavorful as other places I’ve tried. Salsa tastes like tomato basil pasta sauce ahah. Other than that, good price for the food. Did not get any drinks.
My favorite Mexican in all of Iowa City! Great weekly specials and great lunch ala carts. They have some of the friendliest waitresses here as well, and a mean margarita :-)

100% a must-go for margaritas on the reg. Great deals especially on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wouldn’t recommend getting food. Both me and multiple friends have received food poisoning. Still frequent for the margs though
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Iowa city. A huge selling point is the free chips and salsa and the $2 entrees and margaritas on Mondays (which are a fair strength and size!) It's a younger crowd mainly, plays current music rather than mexican music. Would recommend
For how much I paid for the food, it could have been better, street taco's are not at all how I like them, my fried tacos could have been much better, and then I didn't even get the appetizer I wanted, I don't think I will ever go back.
