Food was very good, beer could have been a bit colder. All in all a good place to eat. Loved sitting on the cactus patio and people watch!
I love this place. I ordered the chicken chipotle. The sauce is very creamy and delicious. My friends and I were very impressed by how quick the service was and the food was so tasty. Our waiter was very friendly. Service with a smile is a big plus. I will defiantly being returning. I can't wait to try something else on their menu. The only thing that I was disappointed in was Nothing at all. This place deserves 10 stars instead of 5. Compliments to the chef.

My favorite Mexican in all of Iowa City! Great weekly specials and great lunch ala carts. They have some of the friendliest waitresses here as well, and a mean margarita :-)

My partner is from Texas and I lived there for 11 years and got used to really good Mexican food. This isn’t quite Tex Mex, but it certainly hits the spot and is quite good and plenty of things on the menu to chose from. I’m pescatarian and appreciate their fish and vegetarian options.
The customer service here is outstanding. The decor is cute and cantina like. Makes you feel like you’re on a little vacation! They also have outdoor seating and last summer had lovely plants to create a nice atmosphere.
The main reason we go here is for the drink specials! They have daily specials and their large margaritas always happen to be on special. Love their margs! There are tons of flavors, but classic is my fav. They also have very reasonable prices on beer. Fun place and highly recommend!
100% a must-go for margaritas on the reg. Great deals especially on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wouldn’t recommend getting food. Both me and multiple friends have received food poisoning. Still frequent for the margs though
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Iowa city. A huge selling point is the free chips and salsa and the $2 entrees and margaritas on Mondays (which are a fair strength and size!) It's a younger crowd mainly, plays current music rather than mexican music. Would recommend
