We dined here on a Wednesday evening, we were greeted and seated promptly ( we had reservations).
The service and food consistent with the Hillstone brand. Our server. Matt, was cordial, professional, and amiable.

For starter we ordered the Rainbow Roll, fresh and well prepared; and the Spinach Dip, always a good shareable appetizer.
My main course, the Ribs accompanied with Cole Slaw and French Fries; meat comes off the bone!!,,,Yummy.
My companion ordered the Thai Noodle Salad, well balanced flavor, and of great taste.
We will definitely patronize this place again.
The food is very good. I feel they do not know what to be. Is it a sushi place, southern style or a steakhouse? It’s was really good though. I asked for grilled chicken however they only have rotisserie chicken and it was really good. The veggie burger was outstanding, as was the keylime pie.
They make The Best Veggie Burger I have ever tried 😋 Absolutely Delicious . 😋 We ordered 3 of them from a Party of 5. 😋 The Baby Back Ribs are a Fantastic Fall off The Bone Scrumptious Morsels give me More Please!😋 The Braised Red Cabbage was Amazing as was the Grilled Artichokes. 😋 We also had the Thai Noodle Salad and the Filet Mignon Dinner Just Perfection. 😋

This upscale restaurant is an absolute favorite of mine! Not only do they offer a delightful array of vegetarian options, but their selection of sushi, meat, and fish dishes is equally impressive. The service here is truly top-notch, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
The food is so incredibly delicious that I couldn't resist indulging without pausing to snap pictures of everything. If you ever get the opportunity, make sure to try their mouthwatering artichokes – they are simply amazing! And let's not forget about their exceptional sushi, it's absolutely top-notch!
I can't recommend this place enough – it's a culinary gem you won't want to miss!
Food was really good. Meet it’s price. I really like the all sauces with the dishes. However, the waiting time is longer than the 15 minute grace period the restaurant stated. And the waiter was too busy that forgot to serve water and utensils.
First time to this Houston's in Irvine, although used to be a regular at the bar for Houston's in Pasadena. Pretty much the same at both. A quality, classic steakhouse with good food and drinks and attentive service. Expect to pay about $80 per person. Try the deviled eggs and always get the grilled artichokes when in season. Trout is good and sushi too.
Took my wife there as a surprise as it’s one of our favorite special places and we were NOT disappointed!!!! Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! Definitely looking forward to returning soon in that we live in SW Riverside County.
It took us a little long to be seated, but we were given a free appetizer to make up for this. Drinks were made available to us while we waited. The service was excellent, and we were not rushed. Our entre orders were not even taken until after we finished our appetizers and warm towels after each course was a nice touch. The baby back ribs are amazing. The meat just falls off the bone! The French Dip was also good.
There is so much to love about Houstons. Those who know keep coming back. The service is attentive and well intended. The food, no matter what I order, is always delicious, cooked perfectly & prepared well. I love to cook so food flavors, tastes, temperature and creative design are important around my own dinner table and when I dine out.
Today my husband and I popped in for lunch. 😋.
Oct 2023- The place was buzzing on a recent Thursday night and it took a while to find parking but it was worth it! The pan seared Ahi Tuna salad was really delicious and the bbq ribs are always great! Hot fudge sundae with pecans made a fabulous ending!
Jan 2022 - Great food and service in a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone loves their ribs and Rib Eye steak but if you want something different try the Thai Noodle Salad. The mango, mint and peanuts go great with chicken! Don't forget dessert - the Key Lime pie is amazing! And don't forget to make a reservation either!
Feb. 2020 - Back for a second time and service and food are still great! My brother made fun of me for ordering sushi but the Coconut Shrimp Roll was so fresh and delicious! They actually have a sushi chef there preparing the rolls. The house smoked salmon and spinach artichoke dip are great starters!
The food and service is always excellent at Houston’s! The Caesar salad, doesn’t taste like a Caesar salad, but it’s still good. Lucky for us, the artichokes were in season, and that was a yummy appetizer. Our filet mignon was prepared a perfect medium rare, and my boyfriend said his steak was the best filet he’s ever had in his entire life! I forget what the apple and ice cream dessert was called, but it was so good! Houston’s is a great place for a romantic date, business meeting, or any celebration!
Great location for small groups, lunch time is busy for parking and eating. I suggest making a reservation ☺️ The food and service were both equally amazing, always love the Tuna Tartar. The sushi rolls are totally unique and delicious 👍
Houston’s never fails with great service and amazing dishes. We tried a few different sushi rolls and they were amazing! Also ordered one of each of their desserts they offered and they were all delicious.
Always order the French Dip! So good!
Martinis are great! I like the fact that they replace my martini glass for an ice-cold glass if my drink sits too long.
Was here for a corporate lunch and enjoyed every bit of it. The service is very good and so is the food. I got the house made vegetarian burger along with french fries and it's to good. I also had spinach and artichoke dip and it's one of the best I had. Overall I had good experience.
We did ask for a table to seat 7 guests but their limitation is 6. I find it very weird that they cannot accommodate guests more than 7.
I've been to Houston's many times before. The quality, service, and atmosphere never fails.
The Hawaiian Ribeye and Traditional House Salad are my signature go to.

Only wish they would bring back the Prime Rib.
It can be pricey, but so worth the visit.
The service was great and so is the food. Chic place and design with super friendly staff and variety in the menu. Grilled artichoke is highly recommended.
I treat my bestie to dinner on her birthday every year and she loves Houston's. That Hawaiian steak is so delicious we come back every year for it. The service is 100% professional and friendly. The flavors are out of this world. It's a clean and comfortable establishment.
