Fukada Restaurant - Irvine - Photo album

$8 Udon in Irvine, heck yes!!! My husband took me here cause he used to go frequently when he lived in the area. It was delicious!! There is plenty of parking, dine in can happen if you are ok with take out bowls and utensils (due to a shortage of employees, they cannot serve anyone like a restau
Fukada has changed their dine in policy. You still order and paid like you are getting a take out, then you find a table and the server will give you the food in take out containers. After you finish the meal, you disposed of the trash yourself. Water is self serve . There are tables outside if you
This is a Japanese place specializing in noodles (soba and udon). They are only doing take out, though there are a few outdoor seating options. The staff were prompt in taking our order and the food didn’t take too long to come out. I tried the cold udon with mountain veggies combo with spicy tuna
Recently visited this restaurant. It was packed and odd thing about this restaurant is that it self sitting, so people kinda have to fight for it. However the food was great! We order udon, fried squid, spicy tuna rice and some fried fish. Spicy tuna rice and fried squid were amazing 😋
I lived in Tokyo for three years so I was searching for good Japanese food. Fukada delivered! I went before they opened on a weekday and joined the queue of people waiting. I sat at the bar and ordered gyoza and katsudon. The katsudon came with a salad and miso soup, which is a great deal. Everythin
I love this Japanese place where I got spicy tuna don and cold soba noodles with tempura flakes. It was a good deal and tasted great. The downside to this place is that there is always a wait. Be prepared to wait around for 30 minutes to an hour. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a good dea
Ordering process was fairly simple and food was pretty good! The only reason it got a 4 is because it's still mostly in takeout mode - not inherently a bad thing, but does make it feel more like takeout then a sit down restaurant
Located in the strip mall with the 24 Hour Fitness center, and Montessori center, which limits your parking options. Currently take out orders only, and limited outdoor seating area. Authentic Japanese cuisine, and great lunch specials combinations! Cold soba noodles with a generous bowl of spicy
First time here And I will come back for sure!!! Definitely my new Japanese restaurant They have lunch and dinner menu You need to buy an entree and get a roll of sushi. I ordered my usual chicken kaarage and tofu salad. My husband ordered the hot soba and dumplings. And I tried they green tea ice
This place is excellent. I always get the bowl with spicy tuna on top. I ask for Sriracha. I definitely get it with the side, salad and miso soup and it’s phenomenal.
Wonderful Japanese restaurant. I had the Kamonan Seiro Soba, Zaru Soba, Tatsuta Age, and Anmitsu. The Kamonan Seiro dipping sauce was a bit salty, but eating it with the soba noodles was very tasty. The Zaru soba sauce was wonderfully balanced, not too salty, a bit sweet, and a fresh katsuobushi a
Pretty good Japanese food. You can mix and match a lot of options from their combo menu—noodles, rice, salad, rolls. I got the sansai (mountain vegetable) hot soba noddles and seafood salad. Was surprised at how large the servings were... definitely a filling meal. The soba was very tasty and c
Best Udon I've had. Everything about it is delicious from the toppings, noodles, and broth. I like the side of katsu too. It would be great if they had a bigger store.
The udon for this place is pretty much at par in terms of quality with what I have tried in Japan. I understand why the wait for this place is so long. But I thought it was worth it. Texture of the noodles and the tofu is perfect and the broth is very flavorful mixed with the seafood and an egg to c
Seafood Combination: Seafood Salad with Sesame Dressings and a Shrimp Tempura Crunchy Roll. Will definitely return in the future!
The food was incredible! Best udon I have ever had. The wait was a bit long but totally worth it. The prices are reasonable too. The most expensive udon you can get is $15 which isn't bad at all considering the amount of food you get in the bowl!
The place is so cool. I have been coming here for.almost 8 years. The food is very traditional Japanese but since the 2020.pandemic their food service changed :( no more waiters
