So, my girlfriend and I decided to embark on a culinary adventure and ended up at Sessions West Coast Deli in Irvine. Let me tell you, it was quite the experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles warmer than a freshly toasted sandwich. The customer service was top-notch, and we felt like we were dining among friends. Kudos to the staff for making us feel so welcome! I ordered the tomato soup and tuna melt combo, while my girlfriend opted for the "Groove to the Beet" sandwich. I have to say, the flavors were dancing a tango in our mouths! The tuna melt was perfectly cheesy, and the tomato soup had just the right amount of tanginess. As for the "Groove to the Beet" sandwich, it was a spiral of beet-liciousness. We were beet-ing to the rhythm of this unique creation. The beer tap, sadly, decided to take a vacation that day. It was a real bummer, as we were looking forward to pairing our sandwiches with a refreshing brew. Hey, we can't blame the deli for having a rebellious tap, can we? The bathroom situation was quite a surprise. It seems like someone mistook the toilet for a modern art canvas, leaving an abstract masterpiece on the seat. Not exactly what I were expecting, but hey, it added a touch of avant-garde to our dining experience. Maybe they were going for a "potty humor" theme? Speaking of surprises, when it came time to clear our dishes, we found ourselves in a real conundrum. There wasn't a clear indication of where to put our dirty plates and utensils. It was like a game of culinary basketball, with us throwing our dishes into the abyss, hoping they would find their way to the right place. It definitely added a touch of excitement to our meal, wondering where our plates would end up! I’m very surprised by how good the food was! The rosemary fries were incredible and the portion size was large! I got a sandwich as well and really enjoyed it.

Party of 7 went for brunch on New Year's. We sat outside on the green lawns since it was warm outside, and it was great. Food was ready quick, and they offered free refills even on the coffee. I had the Morning Zephyr, and loved it - the bacon was perfectly crisp, and the egg and cheese were very filling. The fries and sauce are good too!

Absolutely love this place. Bridget and her staff are wonderful. Engaging, polite, and attentive. You may have a slight wait for food on a busy weekend, but it's absolutely worth it. I've had three different sandwiches, each of them delicious in their own way. The Pastrami and Meatball sandwich in particular are fantastic, not to mention the Rosemary fries which I could probably eat a hundred orders of. They make all the food and sauces from scratch, no prepackaged or frozen garbage here. Come here, enjoy the view of the lake, the greenery, and absolutely outstanding food.

As a teen who babysits, this place is great. It is a easy walking distance from my house, it has a playground RIGHT next to it, AND great food. The one thing that might not be great for some people is the price. It is 11 dollars for a sandwich which is a tiny bit expensive for some. But, you do get a good amount of food for what you pay. Over all it is a very good quality place to eat.

The food was excellent! I LOVE brussel sprouts, and their crispy brussel sprouts were probably the best I have ever had! The sandwich was great as well, but there was one problem... I ordered the Yogi that has chicken, but they served it without the chicken 🧐😲. Other than that, it is worth another trip to try more on the menu... and those brussel sprouts!
