Was at the Irvine spectrum and wanted a quick bite.
Has indoor and outdoor seating.
Great service.
Food is good. Tried the hot shawarma wrap with fries. Didn't like the Cole slaw and cheese inside, but that's just my opinion.
Also got the chicken shawarma and chicken kebab with rice, baba ganoush, and tahini which was excellent.
The food is an average nothing amazing.
they said once the order is ready we will call you but they did not and just left our food at the counter to get cold.
The tables were super dirty and nobody clean them. I end up cleaning our table myself!
Wraps tasted very fresh and really decent french fries. Star of this place is the soda fountain with custom flavors. Pineapple cream soda yum.
I just catered a family party for 100+ people and Falasophy did an amazing job in every way. Food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared (very Vegan- and Gluten Free-friendly), they delivered to a public space in Laguna Beach, helped us with setting up the food, and delivered on time. They had no problem managing the numbers and guiding us through it. It's well priced per person - a great value. Rashad even worked with us a bit to customize. Guests commented how much they enjoyed the food. It's clear they thought we went above and beyond. I will use them again and recommend to others heartily.
This place has the best Falafel ever!!! The spicy avocado falafel wrap is heaven!
The food is pretty good. I got falafel and wasn't disappointed. Baklava is a bit too oily and way too sweet. Also a bit too crunchy then what I'm used to. Love the decore and atmosphere here. Right next to the play area for the little kids and good coffee shop next door. Makes the whole trip worth it :)
Nice place to grab a quick bite. The spicy garlic fries had some type of sour dressing and a bunch of chopped garlic on top. It was pretty good. The chicken shawarma was pretty tastey as well.
Being Lebanese, I'm always down to try some Middle Eastern food, like falafel. With the name "Falasophy", I had some high expectations. These people must have really studied the art of making falafel.
Their truck was stationed at a conference I was at, so I figured I'd give it a try. The line was super long. It must have been 30-45 minutes before I even got to order. Once I ordered, I got my food within 10 minutes or so. This whole process took about an hour - not ideal if you're looking for a quick meal.
I ordered half Garlic Chicken Shawarma/half 24-Hour Steak Shawarma Bowl (~$14). It came with rice, pickled cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I made it a meal (+$6) by getting a side of Falafel balls ($5) and a soda ($1). This bowl was way too pricy, in my opinion. I didn't even think food trucks could serve items over $20. It defeats the purpose of quick, cheap meals.
The meats were well seasoned and I liked the flavor and crispiness of the falafel. The rice was nothing special but went well with the meats. The vegetables added a fresh element to the bowl which I appreciated.
I enjoyed the meal but it was not worth $20. It was a good try, but I don't think I'd come back.
MARCELLA SEIDENSTICKER
+4
4 stars because the chicken was a little dry and so was the service but overall a good place for lunch.
Excellent food. Got the salad bowl Lebanese salad with tri-tip steak shawarma. Highly recommended.
Hands down one of the best falafel I've had in a long time. Reminds me of falafel in Jordan.
I also ordered the banh mi chicken shawerma and it was delicious ! Clean cut chicken, sweet and spicy flavor profile, fresh bread ✔️
This was my first time trying Falasophy - plan on coming back.
I liked the chicken shawarma. Bought two to fill me up. Quantity, quality and taste fits the price we pay. Quick and fast service.
Best chicken shawarma I ever had! Amazing food! The chef here makes chicken shawarma in arabi style.
Great little restaurant in the Irvine Spectrum Center...
-Bright and open atmosphere inside
-Sandwiches are made with fresh bread and are very flavorful without being drenched in sauce...steak shawarma is a definite repeat
-Ingredients are fresh and clean
-Falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside...tahini sauce complements it well
I’ve never gotten a chicken shawarma wrap or panini wrap that filled me up. This one I couldn’t even finish definitely worth 12 dollars. Ordered it on my work break, I received the food quickly and the lady was nice as well. Nice atmosphere
