The sweet garlic fried chicken had a very crispy batter and juicy meat. There is more batter than meat but in the best way possible. The sauce was sweet and savory like honey walnut shrimp. There was a lot of sauce, but it didn't make the batter soggy. The beef kimbap was packed with lots of meats and veggies. They definitely did not skimp out. The squid tteokbokki was chewy, not too spicy, and very flavorful. Squid was cooked well and not overdone.

One of the most delicious meals I’ve had this year. We stopped at the Tesla supercharger in this strip mall and ended up going here with our two daughters (10,8). It was amazing. Everything we tried was great. We especially liked the sweet garlic fried chicken. We ordered 16 - this was to many of us (we took home the left overs). I can say with complete confidence that these were the best chicken wings I’ve had in my life. We had the dumplings and the chan Chan kim bap. These were also very good. Would definitely return.

Taste :4.6/5 If you love Korean food, you'll love **Chan Chan Food House! You can choose from a variety of options, such as fried chicken, kimbap, noodles, rice cakes, and more. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend sesame chicken chan chan rice roll .The sesame chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, coated with a sweet and savory sauce that has a hint of spice.

Amazing korean food! Got the spicy topokki with squid and cheese and glass noodles. Both additions made the dish really stand out. The Beef Kimbap was super flavorful. Must get the fried chicken! We got the soy garlic flavor and it was amazing. Slight soy flavor with a good punch of garlic. The kimchi fried rice was a great dish to bring all of our entrees together. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Will be returning!

So good! They have noodles, kimchi fried rice, rice cakes, fried chicken and some others. These two are my personal favorites: kimchi fried rice with spam and black spicy rice cake!! Amazing

I love this place! It's just a solid Korean place and the food is unassumingly good. Good: - Very efficient ordering process and we got our seats then got to order at the front - Food was just so solid - I loved the Chan Chan kimbap - very simple but just so good with all of the veggies as well as the meat inside - I also loved the soy garlic sweet fried chicken - it didn't taste like other fried chicken places - more crunchy and i loved the sweetness level here. - The spicy rice cakes with glass noodles and fish cake and cheese are the BOMB - so good and portion sizes huge here. Bad: - I thought that the starter dishes weren't too great - the cabbage was really raw and a bit too leafy and the radishes were also not super appealing to me. - Food took 15-20 min to arrive, so it's not super fast. Overall I really do love Korean food and this place really hit the spot for me!

Interesting small Korean comfort beer restaurant that serves kimbap and wings. Ordered the house chan Chan kimbap to try and was not disappointed in the taste. Easy to eat and had a great medley of cuts inside the roll. Will come again to try the wings.

I haven't had much experience with Korean fried chicken and disclaiming my friends and i hadn't eaten for 6 hours before hand but this was probably one of the best fried chicken experiences I've ever had. We got 2 orders of wings, sauced up with spicy honey and the other was sauce on the side spicy garlic. The garlicky sauce wasn't as strongly garlicky as i was hoping for but it still was good. The chicken was incredibly crispy and the amount of meat per wing/drumstick was huge. You get 16 for $18 i would say it was definitely worth it. We also got the signature gimbap and it blew my preconceptions of gimbap out of the water. And the last thing we got was the fried mandu which was really good but you have to eat it fast before it gets soggy, it had a lot of noodles in it. The service was super friendly even when we came at a weird time. The restaurant wss pretty clean too.

I’m so glad to find this place in Irvine. Join waitlist and get seat right away. I came around 6pm on Sunday and lots of spaces. You will order and pay with cashier first. My favorite is soy chicken wings. I have tried different Korean resto and this place has the best soy wings so far. Amazing! Highly recommend!

We arrived close to 9:30p, when the kitchen closes for the night, but they graciously accepted our order and were polite and kind when they started to clean up for closing at 10pm. Surprised with the banchan they provided: sweet pickled radish, a soy marinated daikon, and a not-enough portion of Kimchee. Delicious, spicy seafood soup, generous with squid, shrimp, mussels, and even a bit of crab; crackling, shatteringly crisp fried chicken; and a not so spicy squid fried rice that was on the edge of being the teeniest bit too sweet. I wish I lived closer. Would definitely love to try the soondae next time.

Still the best chicken ever. Red red bite and chicken wing with side of sweet garlic & sweet chili sauce are still my favorite of all time. Despite traveling across the states this place still the best when it comes to korean chicken. After pandemic the service has been slacking and longer wait time probably due to staff shortage

This was my first visit to Chan Chan and the food was decent. Would I say this is fantastic fried chicken--no. But, it wasn't disappointing. The sides were good. The chicken was rather plain unless you got it with a sauce, and even then, the sauce made the chicken soggy. I wouldn't suggest taking this to go or eating it the next day. The texture was very goopy. However, the fried rice was terrific.

Best Korean fried chicken for me! We always get the large so we can try two other sauces. They have to put it on the side. We got the chan chan sauce and sweet garlic. We also ordered the kimchi fried rice and the ground beef kimbap. I also tried the chan chan kimbap before. This is my 3rd time here and always a yum! Friendly service too :)

Delicious fried chicken with an option of sauce on the side. Our order came with four side dishes of kimchi. Spam and kimchi fried rice is served on a sizzling hot plate which is wonderful since we like our food piping hot.
