One fine day , when faced with the question - what to have for lunch - I turned to my trusted friend Zomato and boy oh boy was I not disappointed. Read the word Hyderabad and the next moment ( literally ) I was at their door stop plotting my lunch.

A hole in the wall place, nothing here is fancy. A few tables strewn here and there with a huge counter and that's it. Normally this would be sufficient to make me have second thoughts about my choice but such was my craving to eat biryani that all this took a backseat.

I ordered the chicken dum biryani ( medium spicy ) for 10.99 and after a 10 minute wait was handed a big heavy box of Hyderabadi goodness. (I was actually happy to wait cause that meant I was getting fresh biryani ) In side the box were 3 pieces of perfectly marinated and moist chicken rolling in a king size bed of aromatic basmati rice. Taste wise it was close to what I used to eat in Hyderabad..it was the real deal. The only thing I did not like was that it was low on masala. ( Apparently if you order the spicy biryani you get a lot of masala so I would suggest have your biryani spicy if you like a lot of masala just the way I do ) Quantity wise - for a person with a small appetite like me - it ended up being lunch and dinner .

I got my biryani fix here ..its about time you do too. Don't miss this one if you happen to be in this area.

Best Hyderbad Biryani in Dallas. The employees are friendly and ask for customer preferences. The service is very fast and With delicious food. They also provide online ordering, carryout and Dine-in. Good restaurant in Irving area.

Warning- Don’t pay heed to the negative reviews! Loved the goat biryani, it was far better than few others biryani restaurants in Irving. The quantity was also good. Family pack chicken biryani was more than enough to last 2 days.
