Best experiecne in all of Irvington - the view of the river and train makes the visit worth every penny. Beside it being some of the best food I've had in all of Westchester. This place is great! Service was on point and the owner made us feel very comfortable and welcome! Thanks for everything! Will 100% be coming back!

I've been going to Il Sorriso for many many years and it's my absolute favorite Italian restaurant....I'm born and raised in Italy and can honestly say it's the most authentic Italian I have found! and the pizza...oh the pizza! Try it!
Have been eating there since the 1990's and it never disappoints. Got married there in 2000, had my 40th birthday party there and get back as often as I/we can ( moved out of state). Friendly staff, beautiful views, delicious reasonably priced food!!

My husband and I had our wedding here last week!!! To say we were pleased is an understatement, as everything was so perfect. From the beautiful restaurant decor, to the backyard with river view, great service and the food was phenomenal- we had two beautiful appetizer stations, inside and outside bar, and a three course menu - everything was superb. There was plenty of room and at the same time was a nice intimate feel for the evening. If anyone is looking for the perfect intimate restaurant wedding, look no further!!

Easily my favorite restaurant of all time. The rigatoni alla checca is so on point it's unbelievable. We've had some many great memories and meals there and look forward to continuing the great times forever! Keep up the great work everyone!

Loved this place. the food was the best. Our waiter Chris was so accommodating. The drinks were fantastic. The view of the Hudson was off the chart. We met the owner who was a class act all the way. Cant wait to return on a warm night so that we can sit outside and enjoy all that this beautiful restaurant has to offer.
We recently had our daughter’s baby shower at Ill Sorisso for 44 people. The room was beautiful with a great view of the Hudson River. The owner William did a great job in helping us plan the event. The service staff was excellent and the food was delicious! 5 STARS
Celebrated a milestone birthday at Il Sorriso on 12/17/17. Met with William a few times before making the final arrangements;found him to be extremely accommodating and patient with my questions. I had looked at several other local restaurants but was impressed with the brightness and warmth of the restaurant and the view from the large window facing the Hudson.
We wound up being a party of 11 and everyone there was impressed with both the service provided by Carlos and the quality and the portion sizes of all the courses. The wine expert in our group chose one of the house Chiantis as a red.
We ordered a la carte and the total bill was well under $700 including tax and gratuity. Thanks to all at Il Sorriso for a wonderful evening.

Consistently amazing. We drive 45 minutes to eat here and it's worth the drive! Attentive, professional staff, amazing meals, scratch desserts, and reasonable prices. 4 of us ate with dessert for $120 today and we were all extremely happy with our very different meals. Limoncello cake is to die for.
I was looking for a restaurant to hold a rehearsal dinner at. Being from CA i had to rely on other for suggestions. I am so glad I was directed here! William and his staff did an amazing job! The private room in the back had amazing views! Everyone loved the food.
Very good dinner with parents. Servers were very pleasant and accommodating. Calamari had "legs" which is a good sign. Could have been more crispy. My linguine with clam and shimp along with my BF chicken contidina were excellent

On December 12, 2013 - Had an early dinner with a 2 year old and the food and service were fabulous! They were very helpful dealing with a hungry toddler, and very patient in taking our order. The food was great - will be back very soon!
You don't want to miss their amazing happy hour! $5 wine and small plates Wednesday - Friday 5-8pm in the bar area. What a great deal!

Elegantly appointed with Italian landscape pictures you get the both the feel of a friendly trattoria and the sophistication of a ristorante. There is an outdoor patio and you can book an event or party in their fantastic wine. And now let's talk about the fantastic food! The Mediterranean flavors are prepared simply, so that the essence of the ingredients shines through. The tagliatell alla boscaiola was outstanding and try, the best chicken dish , the petti di pollo al funghi e olive nere which is Chicken scaloppine with mushroom and black olive sauteed in a light marsala wine sauce. And....and now they have a new Happy Hour and small plates menu. and now they are serving, hot direct from their real, Italian-made, authentic Brick Oven (no gas just real wood burning here!) unique Pizzas Watch out local pizza stores, Don't be surprised if Il Sorriso gets voted BEST PIZZA of Weschester. Have the Pizza with real Prosciutto di Parma and arugula. Sample the thin crust, olive-oil, ricotta pizza......mmmmmmm!

BY FAR THE BEST WESTCHESTER ITALIAN Trattoria... they have completly redone the place, added a wood burning pizza area and redorated! Horray the MURAL IS GONE and the FOOD REMAINS OUTSTANDING!! They have a great $5 martini offering on Tues and Wed and a great weekday HAPPY HOUR with complimentary antipasti at the bar/lounge area.. This is NOT your grandma's old Il Sorriso. hip and with outstanding food and ambience!
Great vibe, nice staff, happy hour has a nice selection of apps and wine. Try the Rice Balls, they are delicious
Excellent place to eat. One of those local gems! We have been here twice and loved it both times.
