I went on a Monday and the kitchen was closed but the bartender made me some wings anyway. That's good you get a great tip!
Great little hole in the wall for a quick drink, our bartender Charlie was awesome!!!
I stopped in after an evening rehearsal and was greeted kindly by the bartender. The kitchen was open late and I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and let me tell you they were absolutely scrumptious!
The beer on tap was also top notch and the calm ambience was just what I needed after a long day.

This place is actually called the Broadway Grill Tavern. Normally, my wife and I don't eat meals in bars. Our thought is that they emphasize drinks rather than food. But we read the reviews of this place, "Best burgers ever" and decided to try the place. When we entered what was essentially a small bar, I went up to the bartender and asked her if she did, indeed, serve the best hamburgers in the world. She said, "Yes, we do."
And they did. Most places you eat burgers, including all the fast food places, the burgers are a disappointment, and you remember hamburgers you've eaten in the past that were much better. Not here. Once you eat here, hamburgers everywhere else will be a disappointment, and you'll want to come back to the Broadway Grill Tavern for a hamburger.
Nice place. Bartender was really friendly. At the time we arrived they were not serving any food but bartender said we could get some food at New China just a few steps in the corner. Good beer to end up the night.
Local watering hole and only proper "Bar" in Irvington. It has a Dart board, cold beer and juke box. What else would you need? The yuengling is ice cold and delicious, took away a star for no Guinness on tap:)
If you are looking for a friendly and straight forward bar in which to have a value priced beer (micro or plain old beer), and play a round of darts, then this is the place for you. There is no pretentiousness here.
Friendliest staff ever! Very cozy local pub with great food and drinks. TV's to watch sports and great music
