The food is always delicious! The waiters are great too! I love the grilled octopus and we always ask them to make a dish they had on their menu at one time, the Emilio, it's a combination chicken/eggplant Parmesan. They always accommodate us.
This place is amazing I definitely recommend it. Very professional, fast service and the food was phenomenal.

The food and staff are excellent. I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and I have never had a bad meal.
You know its good when you arrive at 10:45am for lunch, and the place is already 75% full of locals having an early lunch hour (cops, rail employees, business folk, etc). I had a Chicago Dog and an Italian beef. Both were very good.
This place is bigger than it looks (there are upstairs and back room seating areas that you dont notice at first.
HOWEVER, they are extremely busy, so if you cant handle a busy, sort-of chaotic atmosphere, I suggest you get there very early like we did, or else avoid.
Great Lunch and Dinner Specials. DeMarco's is a very cozy, classy, yet casual restaurant. It is great for a Family Dinner, a Power Lunch or a Romantic evening for two. You can also just stop in the bar, grab a nice appetizer and a glass of wine while enjoying nice company.
Today I had the Half Price Lunch / Dinner Special, which was the Rigatoni Polpetini. The Rigatoni with cheesy sauce with mini meatballs made of veal, pork and beef were excellent.
I have been to DeMarco's many times and I look forward to each and every visit. Great Food and service - what more does one need!
Best Veal Parmigiana. Best overall Italian restaurant in Suburbs and Chicago. The Cuisine is consistently good and decor and atmosphere are well done. Kim and Mary are great servers. The Owners Jerry and Nancy always greet you and make you feel like Family. It doesn't get better than Ristorante DeMarco's.
Best Italian Food: Osso Bucco is Amazing. The Osso Bucco at DeMarco's is Amazing. Tender and melts in your mouth. Wonderful meal and nice family atmosphere. Our server Kim was also outstanding.
Tilapia is Amazing. Best Italian style Tilapia that I have ever had. I love the food at DeMaro's and the service is very good. Our server Mary was excellent. I highly recommend trying DeMarco's.
Great Flavor, Fresh Salmon and Exceptional Service. The Service and Food are always exceptional at De Marco's. Jerry and Nancy have been at this location for 18 years and the cooks are the same and the food just gets better with each visit over the years.
I have had similar dishes in Tuscany and De Marco's makes them better. Cozy and worth the wait.... I highly recommend.
I liked this restaurant. The location in the strip mall kinda stinks but the service is wonderful and the food has always been delicious! Their fettucchine alfredo is off the wall! It is a bit cramped in the restaurant but thats what happens when you have great food if your bumping elbows in this place then perhaps you need to be eating jenny craig rather than pasta and steaks,,,, just my opinion
I have to say it was the best Veal Marsala I've ever had in my life. I'd go back there again and again and again just to get the Veal Marsala. (And I have!)

I'm from NY and have had Italian food made by Nonnas in their home kitchen, and DeMarcos reminded me of that.
Simple food done extremely well makes for a fantastic meal. Greeted with a smile, seated immediately and, because they had a large group coming in, they moved our table so we wouldn't get crowded. Small touch but very nice.
Mario, our server, was smiling and happy and is an asset to the place. Made us feel like family.
We shared the sausage and vongole al forno (baked clams) appetizer. Outstanding. The sausage was light and the sauce amazing. The clams were buttery and briny and Yum.
I had Veal Parmigiano, and Mom had Chicken Francese. Both were to die for. Veal was tender, great sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Moms chicken was lemony and fork tender.
Tiramisu for me, lemon sorbet for Mom and an espresso to top it off.

We went there for dinner like a week ago and I definitely want to back there, because I love the restaurant, food is excellent, service very friendly and pretty fast. One thing I wish, more cozy in the restaurant room.We meet Nancy the owner. She is very elegant and nice woman.
First time - ate at the bar. I had steamed clams in red sauce - was among the best I have ever had - the bread with a touch of garlic in the butter was excellent! Great service - looking forward to trying some of their specialties.

So my husband and I were in Itsaca (I think I spelled that wrong) for a Marketplace pick up, and it being 5 at night, I was hungry and we spotted DeMarcos, my husband said you want to go there? I agreed and we went. Immediately the hostess was a tall bald guy who was delightful, and sweet, we told him we never been in this area before and he thanked us for coming and sat us, our waiter Mario was funny and very informative with almost everything because again we never have been here before, we got three appetizers because why not? The mussels in marinara sauce were tasty and fresh, the bruschetta was just beautiful as I never had it before, and the calamari was amazing, tender and not full of batter. Also wanted to add that there “bread basket” was freaking delicious, they put fresh garlic in the butter which melted with the warm bread. And through all of this the staff were on top of it, making sure our waters were full and our table was clear when we were finished. So our entrees were amazing. My husband got the veal in a sage sauce, it was tender and full of flavor. I got the linguine and clams in a white sauce and the pasta was homemade and the sauce was FULL of FRESH cut garlic, I was obsessed! We live in Texas and my friend recommended me this original Italian Restaurant and we were very impressed with the service, atmosphere and the food is delicious. Totally worth the price 😋 We can’t wait to go back!! 💙💙💙

This is a must try. I've been going to this place for over 30 years and it just keeps getting better. It's very authentic Italian food, reasonable prices with solid wine selection and great specials.
Service is always great! Family owned and ran restaurant. Good people to engage with. Good is outstanding! Chicken gardinara is the bomb. Grilled octopus and calamari fantastic!

I liked this restaurant. Servers are cheerful and knowledgeable, make you feel like you are in a five star restaurant for sure. Food selection is great. They serve a 3 course dinner with Italian bread and wines. The music is relaxing, kind of makes you remember your last trip to Italy. I will definitely go back there when in the area.
Had the Rotolo with pistachio cream soup. I really liked the cream tomato sauce served with the rotolo. I honestly had never had this dish before but greatly enjoyed it.. Service was prompt with easy pick-up.
By far the best Italian family owned restaurant around! We love going there because of the vibes and spectacular food and amazing service! 10/10 recommend!

Excellent Italian restaurant. You know you're in a legit Italian restaurant when you see the old Italians sitting at the bar hanging out at 5pm. The service was impecabble and the food delicious. I had the beef shank special I think it was called osso bucco. The meat was fall off the bone tender and the sauce you can tell has been stewing, building up in flavor for hours. The spinach was delicious and garlicky. The pasta perfectly done. The other highlight for me was the grilled octopus. Nice char and flavor. The tirsmisu was also some of the best I've ever had. Can't go wrong here.
This place is a real gem! Been around for years and finally went for the first time. I got the shrimp pasta, it was delicious. I’ll be back!
