Friendly staff. The Empanadas were pretty good.
I liked the beef Empanada more.
The Green sauce was really good!
And while you're there grab a Columbian soda.
Best kept secret of Queens. Cheap and delicious. Best authentic empanadas in NYC. Corn shell is traditional, but many options. And get the green sauce. Spicy, but so good. They're plantain soup is like abuelita made it from scratch. Feels like home.
The Empanadas are stuffed pretty well, and each one had a nice crispy to them. Don't forget to ask for your sauces. The Hot green and pink sauce were our favorites.

I had all wheat empanadas. For beef, I liked the cheeseburger and cheese steak. The mamis .. not so much. For chicken, the fajita had more flavor and was juicier. The regular chicken was dry and just jam-packed with shredded chicken.
I also got the tamal, mixed meat (pork & chicken)
I travel all the way from Harlem to this place! The prices are just toooooo good here. The other 2 Manhattan locations suck big time and they're 3.75 per empanada, while at this amazing location no empanada is over $2 and they don't skimp on the fillings.👍🏾
Hearty and delicious empanadas and arepas. Lots of flavors to choose from and is a cheap breakfast or lunch option. 10$ minimum for credit card use.
Wow the Jalepeno Kick is great with a Coca Cola for a Morning Brunch! Easy to breathe Air. Not to mention the Empanadas are Meaty and Giant Right Now!

Words cannot express how amazing this spot is. I mostly order Biagra empanadas, and it has become my favorite meal. 1)this place is always clean, even spotless! 2)personnel is friendly, and fast 3) empanadas are always fresh 4) music is good 5) open all the time. Thank you so much!
I thought I ordered from mamas empanadas but when I got there it was a different store. Iam glad I made that mistake because their food is actually better than mamas empanadas. The food taste fresh and not oily and the sauces are very tasty as well. WORTH THE TRY.
Best variety of empanadas..made with corn or wheat...best hot sauce, lentil with beef soup on Tuesdays and chicken soup on Thursdays are delicious..tastes homemade 😋 chicken wings are very good too...pair with Postobon apple soda and you're good to stay and eat in or take out!
