Khampa Kitchen - Jackson Heights - Photo album

Exceptional restaurant, especially considering their prices. The portions are very large, and I was surprised to see a genuine entree listed for only $10 on average. I highly recommend their butter tea, and all of the dishes we got were delicious. The sausage was excellent as well! I also should men
Huge breakfast portion. Get the Himalayan set. The dumplings + congee (they come together) are solid, but the Himalayan set stood out to me for taste. Freshly fried bread. Everything flavorful. Also try their coffee and ask for honey. Dip the honey in the coffee and then taste from the spoon. So goo
So good!!! The Himalayan set is one of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere in the world. All freshly cooked including the generous portion of fried bread. Subtle flavors. The staff is so kind and pleasant. Worth the walk from the main Jackson Heights zone.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. They have the best breakfasts(Himalaya set) they open at 8:00am to 12:00pm. Best chicken lollipops. It’s a great experience. Highly recommended.
The dishes are phenomenal. I went for a staple dumpling soup and a side of sha Phaley. It brought me right back to my youth. Both dishes were exceptional.
This is one of my favorite Tibetan restaurants in Jackson Heights! I typically do take out but also occasionally dine in, and it typically only take 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I’m vegetarian and am a huge fan of their spicy tofu and fried spinach!
Had a delicious Himalayan set breakfast plus sweet milk tea to drink. Excellent service. A taste of Tibet right here in Queens.
Excerpt from Eat the World NYC: Besides some words on an area message board, Khampa Kitchen has lived most of its year of life relatively quietly. The dining room offers the same thing, separated from noisy Roosevelt Avenue and the 7 train above by a small room that acts as a vestibule. Half of this
Everything was incredible , phenomenal waitress, a fun time for all 5 of us. We are coming back when our lives align. Happy momo was a delight for our vegetarian friends , beef tongue brought home .
The food is consistently delicious. The ingredients they use are super fresh and always tastey. This is my favorite food stop in Jackson Heights, they have a wide variety of option (even for vegetarians), my favorite is the Khampa Phoethek (meat pie) definitely a must try.
Oh my God this is unbelievable place for me, i m food lover, they served me very delicious meat with bone which flash back my country. Place is very clean and customer service is incredible. My favorite place now and I will definitely comeback.
A gem of a place hidden in Jackson heights - large portions, friendly service and authentic Tibetan food. One could not ask for a better dining experience. And the best part is that it is fully halal! We got the following and divided the food among 3 people with each person paying $25 with tip: 1.
Simply amazing food and you should try the famous beef chilli and fired beef ribs. Just bold and phenomenal taste of Tibetan cuisine!
Came in for breakfast and the woman working behind the counter was wonderfully helpful when I asked what was vegan on the menu. She clarified what was made with butter and made modifications for us. The food was fantastic, especially the dumplings that were made with Beyond Beef and the potato dish.
Perfect food and service. The price is very decent, too. Definitely come to Khampa kitchen if you are in Queens. My favourite dish is the gyur ma, 100 percent recommended.
It was the third of four stops on my own self guided Jackson Heights food tour, so my only regret is pacing myself and not getting to try more dishes. Had the Paoeze and Chow Mein. Both were excellent, as were the sauces they have on the table. I didn't know anything about Tibetan food before the Ne
Khampa Kitchen came highly recommended as one of the main restaurants I should visit during the Momo Crawl. My friend and I ordered beef, chicken and vegetarian momos. The momos were juicy. My friend said the vegetarian momo was good. The chicken momo was okay. The beef momo was the best one except
