Great food , great service , great location and great price ... I had baked chicken and a salad ...as I am on a diet ,,, my wife had the chicken pot pie and a salad ....she said it was perfect !!! then we walked upstairs to Lemuria ... ??? !!! This is why I said great location ... ??? !!!
You can’t beat this place. Entrees are always awesome and don’t get me started on the bakery side of things. It’s all wonderful! Plus the staff is always friendly and fast. One of Jackson’s gems.
This restaurant has been one of my favorite haunts for years. Perfect for breakfast or lunch and the King Cake though, yummm! Not to mention, I always run into an old friend or two.
I am a New Orleans native that's been in Jackson for the past three years. I've had King Cake at all the best spots in and around the region. My wife and I agree that this is the best King Cake that we've ever come across. Keep up the good work! We will definitely return for more!
Food is Fresh and tasty!! Service is Awesome!! I Highly recommend eating there!!

Out of this world GREAT! Sandwiches, soups, cheesecake, cookies, bread, just everything. A EATER'S DREAM!! And some of the better staff working such as Savannah, such a very lovely cashier. She could explain all our questions Abt any thing we have ask Abt menu. We always make a point of eating in there on our way to and from Florida and Louisanna. We have even went so far as to drive the 200 miles from our home to there a few times!! A nice Sunday drive
A favorite lunch spot and the Best King Cake!
Hands down, the absolute best King Cake around! There's no doubt that they are made with a lot of Love and Pride, to every detail! Your taste buds will celebrate as if you were walking the French Quarter on the way to the Parade and looked up to see money falling from the sky!
Pass by here all the time and decided to stop in today-- what a great decision! The service from every employee was friendly, professional, and sincere. I the fresh chicken, spring veggie soup was fantastic. We will definitely be stopping by more often. Next time to try one of the amazing looking desserts too!
Original items all the time ! Fresh baked goods daily! Custom order to please! This company's owners and staff are always giving back to their communities and others to make this world a better place ! Thank you Jeff and Dan! Of course the food and pastries are delish!
Great place to grab a quick lunch with fresh choices.
Love this place great atmosphere great food 10 Stars
Hidden treasure. One of the best lunch spots I’ve had in a long time. I really like the setting good atmosphere. Outstanding place to go for a business meeting. Great quality for the dollar. I really love their Alfredo chicken Pasta. It is outstanding better than Olive Garden and up there with Carrabba’s. Big menu from salads to burgers & array of desserts.
I've heard that their breakfast is really good. But I stopped by after work for a bite of supper. I got the smoked turkey and brie panini with mixed greens salad. Service was good and my food came out promptly. I managed to grab a corner table and was able to catch up on some reading as I enjoyed my meal. The only downside was that the sweet tea wasn't very sweet. I do plan to stop by again and try some of their bakery items which looked delicious.
Good Lunch and Desserts. I've had lunch at Broad Street once or twice and really enjoyed the Croque Monsier and the Tomato Basil Grilled Cheese. I've also ordered the St. Paddy's Day King Cake and Mardi Gras King Cake. Both were really good, especially the St. Paddy's cake!
Breakfast failed this morning. Omelet Lorraine needs a little work. Not very appetizing. Carmelized onions left the bland eggs and bacon very runny. How could I not like something loaded with bacon? Well, there's always a first time.
Must try!. Breakfast at BroadStreet.....the Buttermilk Chicken Biscuit w/ maple glaze was surprisingly GOOD! The biscuit was light, fluffy with a large crispy chicken tender, but I think the maple glaze is what made it! It was delicious.
Wonderful not too sweet cheesecake.
It's okay.
Average.
Not special.
Priced a little high for so much self serve.
Seating is strange.
Best bread in Jackson. The club on foccica is to die for. I have no idea how they do it! Everything on their menu is great but I always stick with the club. Love how the pasta salad as a side changes daily and is always delicious.
Excellent breads, cakes and cookies that are turned into delicious meals. The fudge cupcake was amazing. The sandwiches are delicious and the cookies were perfect. We'll definitely be back whenever we are in Jackson.
Super Service and food. Largest selection of artisan breads around here are used to create great sandwiches. The soups always good. Everything fresh. And divine desserts. All in a unique establishment within a unique building. They know what they're doing!
The cafe is in a tiny boutique mall with good parking right off of I-55. Restrooms are small but clean. The menu is large and similar to Panera Bread. There are seats inside or on the patio. You order up front then they bring the food to you by number cards. We had the club sandwich and it was big and tasted phenomenal. Soups- tomato artichoke and turkey chili were bland. But all in all a great lunch! Thanks!
I tried the waffle.. Waffle was pretty good. Not the greatest waffle I've ever had, but it was tasty and worth the cost. Espresso did the trick. Potatoes were okay, but I prefer a little bit of crispness somewhere and they were completely mushy. Staff was great and so was the setting. I would definitely return to try more of their food, and maybe buy some bread too.
Very nice place to eat. Slightly upscale casual, great selection of fresh breads! I would recommend the Portabella Vegetarian on Foccaicia bread, it has an great pesto that just makes the whole sandwich. I actually ate half of mine before I remembered to photograph it! Good, friendly staff and servers, one of the nicest little places to eat on the Jackson area.
Try the to-go counter. I have eaten just about everything on the menu. I was highly impressed this week by the to-go counter. I needed some food for a family event and ended up with a pan of lasagna that wowed the family. We also grabbed several loaves of bread and they packed it all up and helped us get it to the car.
Fave Sandwiches, Baked Goods!. Broad Street is one of my favorite places for many things: sandwiches, baked goods, pizzas, and even their sides - all with distinct flavor and originality! My go-to sandwich is the blackened chicken (minus avocado, minus pepperjack, minus honey mustard, sub pesto & provolone and heated, please). For my side, it's their new white bean turkey chili (amazing!) or their gumbo (not overbearing, not loaded with okra; just the way I like it.) The full montie bar (as the name implies, a bit of brownie, a bit of coconut, a bit of oats and more) is a calorie splurge delight, and their cookies are heaven. I also love their brownies, and, they now have sugar free cheesecake (oxymoronic after all that sweets talk, I know.) It truly is a new fave!
The pizzas, considered small by some but more than filling for a couple or three people, are delicious, and their pasta dishes (though I haven't tried them) are said by many to be great. If you are a coffee fan, Broad Street offers many specialty drinks, and with their new iPhone app (search Mangia Bene) you can get a glimpse of their ever changing daily specials.
A tradition for many, and a go to for me and my nephew (he LOVES Broad Street!)
I'll order... you go find a seat. You will have plenty of time to browse the menu while your friend or family member scours for the precious seating commodity here.
That is the only downside I have to this awesome eatery. Cannot ever find a seat. Good luck if you have kids. Try going up two flights of stairs looking for a seat with little ones in tow trying to find a table for 4. ARGH
Provided you can find a seat. The food is awesome. The breads are out of this world, which makes the sandwiches special. Love the food here. Always dread finding a table.
Best Bakery by far! Breakfest, lunch, and dinner are all great!
I love the sour dough and turkey sandwich it is great and they have some of the best gumbo around plus great staff and customer service
Love this place. Besides having wonderful fresh-made bread and other bakery items, they serve delicious salads and a variety of sandwiches, quiche, etc.
A tasty muffin, a hot cup of coffee, and the cheerful staff at Jackson's Broad Street Bakery got this particular day off to a great start! When I got up to the display of mouth-watering baked goods at Broad Street, I didn't see any Morning Glory muffins, which is my favorite kind there. The girl taking my order said they had just run out…. What a damper. Or so I thought…
