T-ow is the best server there. She has worked there forever and is so sweet. We go about once a month. Their spicy tuna and dynamite rolls is the best ever. They used to be called Little Tokoyo.
My favorite sushi place in Jackson. Very good.
Sushi was good, but Osaka is much better IMAO. Better selection of rolls and much larger. Sakura Bana is cheaper though. Watch out for the wasabi here, it is stout! You definitely don't need as much here
Cherry Blossom = Best Thing Ever. As a general rule the sushi here is delicious. This is a good thing, but many places have delicious sushi.
Those other places do not have the "Cherry Blossom" though, and the Cherry Blossom is the best invention ever. It's basically a smoked salmon / cream cheese / avocado roll topped with fresh/raw salmon & roe.
It is fantastic and I keep going back for more.
Otherwise? Usually great service, though I do find it to be slightly more expensive that I usually prefer to pay... but that might just be me missing the "lunch specials" that many sushi restaurants offer.

BEST SUSHI. This is the best and my favorite sushi restaurant to go to. Whenever I go there, I have such a hard time deciding what I want to get, because it's all so delicious!! My favorite thing to get is Chirashi (sp?). It comes with many different types of fish and seaweed salad on a bed of rice. It also comes with their house salad and miso soup. My favorite sushi of all time can only be found at this restaurant: Kodiak Shrimp. If only I could put in words how delicious this sushi is. The sauce that comes with it is amazing. You just need to try it. The SST is amazing as well. The Box Tuna is really good. It's just basic sushi, avocado and tuna. Their green tea is really good as well.
Best choice for sushi in Jackson. I have been eating here since this place opened like 20 years ago. It is always delicious!
Enjoyed it!. My wife and I finally got the chance to eat here the other night and glad we did so. While I will admit its a bit smaller than most places the staff were friendly and the items we got were delicious. We tried around 5 rolls but the two that stuck out to us were the Krispy Kreme roll and the Scorpion roll. Best thing about it they were appropriately portioned and the prices were quite lower than most places with lower quality/smaller special rolls. Also tried the angel hair roll which had fried angel hair pasta, neat idea and added great crunch.

Decor 4/5 (neat black light wallpaper etc on one side, but other was kinda mixed and not very appealing we sat at sushi bar and pictures of different rolls etc were all over the place)

Best sushi.....ever. The sushi here is delicious. The sushi is presented simply and with no excessive nonsense. This is the restaurant that made me love sushi.
All I have to say is Try the BBQ Salmon Dynamite roll....the sushi chefs here are second to NONE! They are creative and you are definitely going to find a variety of rolls you have never had before. They are my very favorite and I have had every place in the area as well as across the country!
Best sushi in Jackson. People around here tend to have one sushi place that they stick with. I started out at Nagoya, but once I tried Sakura Bana I haven't went anywhere else. Except for one isolated incident with a server who I think is no longer there, the service is great! Even with large groups, the servers are consistently amazing.
I can't go without getting the MM roll - a deep fried roll with crab, asparagus & fish cake. I have not had anything like it anywhere else, and everyone that I have encouraged to try it loves it. They also have great shumai (s/p?) steamed shrimp dumplings.
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN. Staff is very friendly and efficient Newly remodeled. clean and quick service. I do recommend this place for curious folks who wants to broadened their culinary palate

The sushi is innovative and delicious. Jay, my waiter, was very attentive and friendly. Guchi-San, the owner, really puts customers first.
The best sushi restaurant in town! Everything is fantastic here, with attentive staff (Jane, Lauren, Renzo, Austin, Millie, Ariel, Skylar) ! I believe they're still the ONLY Japanese owned restaurant in the whole Jackson metro!
Those cream cheese deep-fried wontons are pretty good. But the sushi tuna roll thingy, was out of sight!! I have NEVER enjoyed raw or cooked sushi, and I did not order it; a friend of mine did, but left it at my crib not once, but came back 30 mins later and still didn't take it. I gave it a try and it was like tasting food for the first time; and the food was sushi, AND IT WAS GREAT!!
Don't have pictures or videos of my food, but let's face it, good food should be eaten, NOT PHOTOGRAPHED. You want to see the food, go order something. You won't regret it.

one of the best sushi places in the Jackson Metro area. It is a bit small inside and they stay busy. The food is top notch and worth the wait. Do not go here and expect to be in and out quickly if during peak times. As long as your not in a hurry I would say this is your spot.
Great little hidden gem...fish is super fresh, sushi and sashimi are amazing, service is great and chefs don't mind making changes
They have great food but their Covid-19 protocols are lax. There were two people waiting at the front with no masks on and a man came walking through the restaurant with no mask. I won't be going back there until covid-19 is gone or below 2%.-
