Excellent BBQ served quickly. They have made great accomodations despite the pandemic. We were able to eat outside in the covered patio area.
Great service, friendly people. Good barbecue, a little on the vinegary side for me, but was very moist. I fell in love with the Brunswick stew! This place has been in been in business since 1929. They know their stuff!
I went to this restaurant on the advice of a review that said it was voted best BBQ in Georgia. To be fair it does not say what year this alleged vote occurred, but my guess is a very long time ago. We drove an hour to the restaurant and when we arrived there was a line of seven people ahead of us

The barbecue was pretty good. I prefer my Brunswick stew a little more chunky, but the flavor was okay. They have built a really nice pavilion outside with picnic tables for customers since they're not serving inside at this time.
Lots to do here! Trails, nature center (no dogs in this area), ample picnic areas, and a lovely gift shop.

Went on Labor day. First experience there. They have an extremely limited menu, basically bbq pulled pork and a few sides. Pork was excellent, moist, great flavor.
