06/24/2023- WOW - today's food and service DEFINITELY got my 5 stats!!!! Painkiller drink to start, grilled shrimp nachos AND chargrilled oysters!!!! I'm IMPRESSED and STUFFED!!! ReOpened -UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT !!! Attended "soft opening" , so the staff was still learning- only reason for 4 stars.
This makes my second time of eating here since they have reopened. I understand they opened under new management which I was not aware of until today. This location is under new management, and it’s made ALL the difference! Dustin was our server and made our experience wonderful. He consistently checked on us, was incredibly polite, and served in a professional manner. The food was cooked to perfection, and we will definitely be back.

I'm from Chicago visiting family in Jacksonville, NC. We went to the Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar close to closing and ate the last 41 or 41 steamed oysters they had along with shrimp and other delicious appetizers. The food was awesome!!!
My family and I love this place! Every time we’ve been, the food has been super yummy, the staff are great, quick and professional and the atmosphere is very comfortable to be in. We love their oysters and shrimp, but we also love that we can grab a quick bite to eat for lunch that’s great and worth
This place was very busy, and the bartender seemed as though she was a little over whelmed. She forgot about one customer's food and it sat in the window for quite some time. The oysters were on point. The fried shrimp was OK, but nothing special. I would definitely go back.
Dinner here was an excellent choice. My family and I were greeted immediately and checked on frequently. Our drinks were never empty and our food came out hot and prompt. The customer service sealed the deal for me. Awesome establishment.
Wow!! This place was fantastic. The food was spot on and great atmosphere. They have a very high ceiling that really helps this place seem larger than what it really is.
They have high and low tables for different groups of people. They do have seating for larger groups.

I like this little hole in the wall seafood joint! The service was great, friendly faces, tasty food, and I liked the decor of the place especially the bathroom mural. Crab legs were excellent and the mojito was delicious! I will say hands down the fried pickles were the best fried pickles I've ever
Service was a little slow but the waiter was by her self. And she was getting it done as fast as possible. So I have to say she did a good job. Food was fantastic. I am not complaining, the girl needs a raise. She did a great job.

Heard Shuckin Shack was under new management and decided to give them another try. What a difference! We tried the low country boil, shrimp basket and shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits were my favorite with the chorizo sausage! Keep the good work. I’ll be back sooner than later!
You get your money's worth! Everything looks and tastes fresh. The Sampler appetizer is a great start. The crab dip is to die for along with the garlic buttered toast. Awsome appetizer sample, especially the dip with garlic toasted rounds. It could be an entee by itself. Great fries with the huge Shrimp Poorboy. Dressing was spicy on the large Shrimp Louis salad. Will be back soonest!
