I am writing to you today to provide feedback on my recent experience at Ruth's Chris Downtown Jacksonville.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was upscale and elegant. The restaurant is located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, and it has a beautiful view of the St. Johns River. The décor is dark wood and rich leather, and the lighting is dim and romantic.
The service at the restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and they were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my guests and I had a great experience.
The food at the restaurant was simply outstanding. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and they were incredibly flavorful. The seafood was also fresh and delicious. The sides were also very good, and there was a wide variety to choose from.
On two occasions, I received my filet mignon well done instead of rare. However, I understand that this is a common mistake, and I am sure the restaurant's willingness to make it right would have been displayed immediately if I would have brought it to the staffs attention.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Ruth's Chris Downtown Jacksonville. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.
Just had to share my thoughts about this restaurant even though an not a review person ever. I had one of the best restaurant services at this restaurant. The place is classic 👌 the stuffs are extremely polite, respectful and welcoming. The manager is indeed business oriented, friendly, respectful and pay attention to all the customers. I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant yesterday with my girl friends, we were 6 of us and we all had nothing but good things to say about the restaurant. The even gave me cheesecakes as a birthday present.
So tonight was one of the best meals I have had in yrs. Our server Matthew went beyond anything any server has. He was very knowledgeable and gave great ideas for dinner. Y'all must go so worth it.
Everything about this business dinner was exquisite. The food is beyond phenomenal, the table service is impeccable and the views are breathtakingly beautiful along the riverfront.
This was our first time going to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the time we walked in, and was greeted by the friendly and outgoing host. To our server, Matt. Who went well above to make sure that our experience was nothing less than excellent. He made recommendations told us everything we needed to know about the menu. And answered every question we had the steaks were cooked to perfection, the lobster and macaroni and cheese and mushrooms were phenomenal. Extremely excellent experience all the way around. Thank you to Matt and everyone that made this an excellent experience. We will definitely be back.
Great steak and crab cakes, but everything else was just ok. The filet is the way to go in my opinion, very tender and cooked perfectly medium. The lobster tail was too salty, lobster Mac n cheese too one dimensional, and asparagus was disappointing. Desserts were pretty good, especially the chocolate cake. Service was friendly and prices are expensive, but this is expected for a steakhouse.
Great anniversary dinner. Food was spectacular and the service was awesome. Breath taking views.
So delicious. Went on a work outing and were treated like royalty. The servings are enough to feed two comfortably. Definitely good for a date night. The view is terrific. Just lovely.
My husband and I just celebrated our Anniversary tonight and everything was amazing, the food the service and it was very clean. Matthew was our waiter and he stayed on top of everything. We will definitely be back. There was not one bite of food we did not enjoy! We did not get many pictures because we devoured our food
Very fancy food and service, but isn't the best being in the lobby of the hotel.
This place is an absolute awesome for happy hour! Not only is it conveniently scheduled with Thirsty Thursdays, but it’s also within a mile of the local baseball game. I've been going here for years, and I'm always delighted by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the helpful, knowledgeable staff. Scott, the bartender, is especially awesome. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves! Highly recommended!
We were there for our wedding anniversary and the food and the service was exemplary as usual.
Wow just wow. Best steak at a Ruth’s Chris Steak House as of yet. Great meal and our server Matt was one of the best! Perfect staff and ambiance.
Oh my! So good. Had the NY strip (bone in) and lobster. It was great. It was quite a wait though however we went to the bar and had drinks while we waited. Caesar salad and shrimp for appetizers and a starter. So good and fresh! Will return. And so should you!
