Tonight was one of the best holiday family dinners in a long time. Blessed/grateful for the overall hospitality at Stonewood Grill & Tavern. Special holiday shoutout to Tiffani, Alex, Jake (our server) and the entire staff working on Christmas Eve at the Mandarin restaurant location helped make my family’s dining experience a relaxing and enjoyable one to remember. Mr. Jake alongside staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. My ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and won the best steak of the year award for me in ‘23! Can’t wait for the next visit soon and try some other great dishes on their menu!
I’m looking forward to come here more often. My skinny margarita was on point, so good. I loved the cream spinach more so than my burger which was well done instead of medium which is what I had asked for. Overall experience was good and I will be back to try a steak dinner.
The food was hot and delicious. I am glad I put kids orders in 1st bc it was a bit of a wait for what seemed to be a not over busy place. Our server was friendly and our orders were accurate but very slow.
I hosted a private baby shower at Stonewood Grill & Tavern in August. John Revels and the wait staff were amazing. They were accommodating and perfectly executed every detail of the event. My guests loved the food!
Zack and Tiffany were so awesome, and Zack told us about the best things to order, and we loved it all! We have already told others and are going again on Thursday. We came from Washington state and are staying in St Augustine, and we will be coming back a lot. Great prime rib, great drinks, and great people
To be honest I'm a line cook here, but I've eaten here a few times too. It's an upscale & classy place with an ambience you'd wanna dress up for, but there's also a tavern with plenty of casual regulars. There's a glass wall of wine right in the lobby as a prime photo backdrop. We have an open kitchen. You can be confident your food is cooked with the utmost care, especially if you have allergies or are vegetarian/vegan. The food is fresh, with tons of classic hits. Theres always plenty of limited time options changing every few months for people who want to try something new. Definitely a great spot for special occasions.
First time here. I really liked this spot. The food was tasty. The waiter was nice. They even have a happy hour. Out of 11 people no one had a complaint. I will definitely return.
I would have done 5 stars but I'm deducting 1 due to the long wait for food. Also the food was a little greasy. I really overall love this place. It did seem to take literally forever to get the food though and we went on a Wednesday night. It was packed. I would recommend the pretzel bread that was awesome! Food was really good! A little expensive.

This place was fantastic. I love the atmosphere and the ambience. I came here with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and I added this place to my favorite list. I had for the first time, French onion soup and it was so rich in flavor. The pasta is a must, every flavor is well balanced and you can’t go wrong with bow tie pasta. The dessert was an upside down pineapple cake, to die for. I don’t remember the name of the drink but it was something with coconut and it delicious. I have visit this place twice after September, and I am ready to order the family bundle for the upcoming holidays.
Prime rib was almost half fat. At $36 for 12 oz it was closer to $36 for 6 to 8 oz. Caveat, I have never liked eating fat, not sure if the texture or what, but I understand it adds flavor and some swear it is the best part, but I'm more of a jack sprat.

We haven't been to Stonewood in about 5 years. We won't wait that long between visits again as the food was really good for the price point. I recommend the wedge salad as it has this balsamic reduction that makes it the best wedge salad I have ever had. And that's saying something as I almost always order a wedge salad if it is an option and have many experiences to compare this culinary delight to. I also think the loaded baked potato is really tasty and the center cut sirloin. Both were excellent and very satisfying. My wife had the Guava Salmon and thought it was equally an excellent choice for seafood lovers, and my brother-in-law ate every last bite on his plate of the porkchop, which is really saying something because he almost always leaves one bite of whatever he is eating (I am still not sure why he does that). For desert, I had the seasonal pumpkin lava cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. My wife and brother-in-law had the orange cake (I snuck a bite, too). All of these choices were excellent and topped off a delightful meal just perfectly. Stonewood is a great choice, and we will be choosing it more frequently when we dine out.

My wife and I stopped by here because we wanted a good steak and not at just some place we can eat at home. We walked in and found a couple seats at the bar and settled in.
We have never been here before but we were pleased beyond belief. The happy hour was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly to our requested temperature. The creme brûlée was so good as well! The GM stopped by and welcomed us to the restaurant as first timers. If you come up to this area, stop by here and get some food and drinks! Do not pass up on this place.
Love it here. Fantastic drinks, good smoked salmon and veggie fritters, and the burgers are always cooked to the requested temp. Can accommodate large parties. Their seasonal pumpkin lava cake dessert right now is 11/10, get that!
Beautiful dinning experience for our party of 10 ( family dinner ) Waiter was handsom in his black and red polo. All wait service was on point. All the food was delishous. Dessert is a must! Cream brulee, straberry cheese cake, cake, pineapple upside-down bread pudding with ice cream were all amazing. Manager was very professional and polite making sure we had enough to eat while waiting for our banging hot wings. Offering us the best spinach dip and chips I have ever had. Pineapple martini and Maple old fashion were so satisfying. If you have little ones to feed, they will love their menu selections. Steak, fries, mac n cheese, cheese burger and veggies. Also crayons and cute little Garfield coloring page on the back of the kids menu. Definitely going back to this restaurant 😋
This is one of my go to spots for when I "want to be spoiled with excellent service and food"! Plus the bar is always amazing, some of the best bartenders in Jax. Maddy was our server and she was top notch! We had the Delmonico ribeye (perfection!) and the peach bourbon pork chop, which was a first! It was very moist and the glaze was superb! Unfortunately we did not leave room for dessert this time, but we'll be back! Whatever you are celebrating, even if it's just the fact you survived another day of work, this place always delivers the perfect vibe.
The service was great from the start, Marissa was a lovely bartender. I’m here on business and I’m glad I chose this place. The Tuscan chicken is to die for. The chef/partner, John came out to greet and ensure my meal was to satisfaction. What a gem of a place! Will be back!
I've visited twice over the last 12 months. Each time, the food was delicious.
Wide variety of dinner options. The Blueberry Martini was delicious! The wine list is ok, not expansive. Something decent at each price point. The jacketed potato was exactly what I wanted, loaded and tasty. The prime rib was good. Kinda tough, but I think it's just the 12 Oz cut. I usually prefer an 8 Oz. But they don't offer one.
Fresh food and delicious, can’t rate the atmosphere and service as I ordered from Uber but man was it good.
