I simply love this place. It's my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. I wish they could be open for dinner as well. Healthy and delicious food.
Yum, yum, yummy! Service is always good too. I always have their crates when I go there and they are very good. You won't find them on the menu board if you ask for them they will make them for you. The only negative I would say is they only have the one flavor for crepes banana strawberry but they are very good. They use one full banana and give you two crepes each one has a full banana and the strawberries in it.
Fast service. Cleanliness. Good food. Courteous staff. These are the four things that mater most when dining out. First Watch succeeded at all four. No complaints. The grits were creamy, and the potatoes flavorful. My husband had the million dollar bacon. It was so good he stopped talking. If there were six stars, they’d earn every one.
Always delicious food and always friendly staff! Plus you can get in line with the NoWait app before you get to the restaurant. Favorite place for brunch!
My veggie omelette was delicious! Good coffee. Our server did a really good job on a busy Sunday morning.
Best breakfast in town...food is fresh and good, great coffee and awesome service. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent! It's definitely our new favorite place for breakfast!!
Geeat food...great service. Nice atmosphere! We gave our waitress an over average top because she really explained what we were getting and took her time. It was packed but we never felt rushed! Will visit again or you can open a restaurant in S.C.!
Great food and service. I had the blueberry pancake w/bacon and my husband had hashbrowns, eggs, etc. Since it was our 25 year anniversary they comped our meal...how thoughtful!
First time at first watch. Completely blown away. The good, the service, and environment - all top notch
First Watch is always solid. Very fresh options on the menu, food is always great. I like that they bring you a pitcher of coffee to the table to sip on, and their fresh squeezed juices are excellent. Good place for me and my girlfriend as she is quite the healthy eater and I’m not as picky, so there is many choices for both of us.
Favorite breakfast spot in Jacksonville & Orlando! Healthy options and just the right portion sizes. The coffee is not the best but overshadowed by the meal. During the fall, catch the pumpkin pancakes!
Great food. Great service. Great value. Can't miss at this restaurant.
Ate here as a breakfast stop on a road trip. It's conveniently close to the highway and has a nice variety. The veggies in the veggie omelette were cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly. Reasonable prices, too. I wish there was a place like this back home!
Try The Works omelette! Tasty and filling. Onions on it are mild not overpowering. Beware: they serve V8 as Tomato Juice...both good but somewhat of a surprise!
Good sandwich. Tried this place for the first time today, had a veggie sandwich on multi-grain bread; it was delicious!
This place is great. Had chikichanga before and it was awesome.. today parm hash... Which was amayzing.
I always go for breakfast when the Metro Diner is just too packed. The cranberry walnut pancake is very good! Coffee is good and the atmosphere is very hip. I like that they do gluten free and are natural and organic. A good place for breakfast
Good food, fast service. Had brunch here and thought the food was good - great coffee, great service. Very clean and spacious - could talk w/out yelling.
This has become a regular meeting place for my friends and family. Clean, friendly, healthy options for food and priced very well!
Delish. We stopped in for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised.
They were busy. We waited maybe 10 minutes before being sat…not too bad. We were greeted by a very friendly server. She was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive.
Hubs had The Works omelette with a side of potatoes. He enjoyed both. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right.
I had the Pecan Dijon salad. It was fresh and crisp. The dressing was lovely. They went a bit overboard with the carrots, but other than that everything blended nicely.
This place hits the mark. It's clean, run well, and dishes out great food at reasonable prices.
We won't hesitate to go back.
Great chain of breakfast lunch cafes. My favorite place used to be Metro Diner until I found out they have Swai on their menu.
This place is fresh, yes, fresh! All items are as fresh as can be. We love this place!
Loved this place! So many amazing menu items to choose from, even for a vegetarian. The fresh fruit crepe is a must-try. Worth a stop in for breakfast or brunch.
I was very skeptical about this place with the bad reviews. We use to go to a FW back in our homestate. This place was great! Food came out fast, fresh, great choices. If you are from the northeast and miss the great breakfast places, this is ur place. For the people writing the bad reviews, go back to ur greasy spoon, highly processed Bob Evans!
Always a Happy Smile. When traveling to Orlando I was introduced to First Watch by a friend. Fell in love with the fresh food and attentive staff.
Finally, after years of begging "corporate", they are not opening one, but several locations throughout Jacksonville.
For breakfast, my favorite is the Tri-fecta. Choice of eggs, meat and a waffle. My selection is scrambled, turkey sausage, and instead of a waffle, a huge pancake. Not just a plain pancake, but your choice of 10+ ingredients. I typically order the wheat germ. I know it sounds like a tree-hunger flavor, but it's really good.
Went yesterday for lunch and we waited about 30 minutes (table of 10). They already need to consider busting the wall and taking over the rest of the former dollar store location.
The only drawback I see for First Watch...They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Can you imagine if they were open for dinner?
OK, writing this review made me hungry for breakfast...
Good Food, Prices, Service. Always a little hesitant to try a new restaurant when they first open, but these people had their act together. While the restaurant was at near capacity, the wait staff knew what they were doing and the kitchen was prompt. It was interesting to contrast to some Jacksonville restaurants that have had years for figure it out, but still can't handle a rush.
Dispite how busy it was, the manager came over twice to check on us. Again, there is another restaurant here in Jax that we visit once a month. The owner has never bothered to visit our table or even greet us when we come in, even when the place is empty.
The food choices were both interesting and diverse. Both of us enjoyed our selections and will be back to try others.
The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Prices were very reasonable.
What more can we ask?
Great Experience!. Loved, loved, loved it! We went for breakfast and had a great meal. The service was very good and the food was delicious. My husband had 'The Works' omelet and it was very large with an abundance of meat and cheese and was very tasty. I had the 'Veg'd Out' omelet and it was light and fluffy and filled with delicious vegetables like mushrooms, broccoli and cheese. The decor and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing and they had one of the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in Jacksonville!
I liked the look of the restaurant, it was very open and inviting. One cool thing is that you can see right into the kitchen from every table. To me, that shows that they have nothing to hide!
We came from Vermont to visit family and sought the best breakfast. We arrived around 11 AM on a Sunday and our party of 2 were seated immediately to our delighted surprise.
The waitress was attentive and came back in a few minutes just as she said with our coffee and OJ after we asked for more time with the menu.
I ordered a chili chorizo omelette and my GF ordered a farmhouse potato skillet and we had cinnamon spice churros for a sweet finish.
The food came hot and fresh and tasting amazing after a short 5-10 minutes while sipping our coffee and OJ.
Will definitely make this a favorite for Everytime we visit FL.
10/10
I love their thick tomato basil soup so much. It’s one of the best tomato soup I ever had. The portion is perfect too. Really fills you up. I am definitely coming back again for more! 🤩
New looking interior and good food. I had the biscuit and gravy breakfast (biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes) and a side of fruit. My wife had vegetable soup and Ham and gruyere melt.
Every single time I go to first watch I love it! There are two young waitresses there that always take fantastic care of you. Lauren has recommended several things on the menu. So I've been able to try different things that I never would have. And they have been absolutely delicious. And of course I love their specialty drinks.
Food was good and the service for a busy place was decent. My wife's salmon was better than my short rib. The short rib had good flavor but wasn't very tender. Our server was super friendly but seemed it have forgotten about us for a minute. Otherwise it was great. I'd definitely go back.
Regular visitor here. Seasonal menu variations and the kitchen staff really knows how to cook! Not just a bacon and eggs dive. One of the best breakfast/lunch places around.
I tried the harvest hash and Omg, so good. The million dollar bacon, roasted sweet potatoes and eggs were perfect. My mom had eggs, sausage, toast and cheese grits, which she loved. It was a bit crowded and the wait time was a tad bit long. The employees were definitely working hard. Our waiter was Eric and he was a joy. We sat outside which was nice because it was very peopley inside.
Good quality food, clean welcoming atmosphere.
Just make sure they have avocado in your avocado toast and do not charge extra for avocado that already has to be in the recipe 😉. It was adorable and honest mistake, nothing more!
The food was great. Service was just as good. It's very congested up front. We had to wait for a table and wait to pay the bill. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping in.
Great place for breakfast. My omelette was the right temperature and tasted delicious. Salad was fresh, bread tasted amazing. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich. Would recommend this place over and over again.
The food was amazing, the staff is so kind and friendly but our waiter kept going away and helping others while we were talking to him. Overall this place is so good I now see why it is packed a lot. I would totally recommend people to eat here.
First time and throughly enjoyed it. Nice bright Brunch restaurant with an interesting menu. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will def go back.

Love the food here. We had the crab cakes with hollandaise sauce. Spring menu. Million Dollar bacon and fresh fruit. Delicious.
Nice First Watch location, especially as the fall weather starts to hit, the outside seating is very pleasant. Great service and your classic First Watch food. Will definitely be back.
