The BEST sushi EVER. This is the best Sushi and Hibachi Grill restaurant I have ever had, possibly even the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. They bring everything freshly off the grill to your table. It is all you can eat, but they only serve you one sheet at a time so everything is fresh every time. The waiter & Servers know now, We go there so much a lady asked if we worked. I see a few of my class mates and crews bubbles. Try it and you will be hooked.
fuji sushi is now the only spot i realy eat at then home cook meals fuji suhi had me very surprise about the total its only 13.00 for lunch thats just plus tax and 19.00 for diner there food is awesome pppppppppllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee try it some time tell them that a 10 yr old girl sent you and her name is journi and tell them to ask young girls there name and she will know who i am\

We've become regular customers after this business struggled trying to find their niche in the market for years as you can see by reading some of the old reviews. I think they have finally found it with an all you can eat approach, that focuses on maintaining quality and not being wasteful (you pay extra for things you order and do not consume do to over ordering). AYCE sushi for $10 for lunch and $15 for dinner is a great bargain. We are big fans and really support this local business and its continued success.
In the past I have had issues with service. From my previous review, "Trying to place a second order is always a bit of a challenge as the servers don't pay attention to the tables once the first items ordered are served. This also applies to getting a server's attention to get your check." Overall service has improved, although service can still be a bit spotty as it was on our most recent visit when we didn't have any little bowls for soy/shrimp sauce nor was any sauce brought out with our tempura items and getting someone's attention to procure these items should have been easier.
My only other complaint is that if you sit in the front half of the restaurant and face the front while dining, the sunlight can be disturbingly bright. I'd really love to see something like a screen on the window, so that the light could still come in but not be as harsh. This place can seem pretty dark inside otherwise, and a new color palette with bright colors might also help the harshness of the light from outside.
I'm still rooting for this locally owned business and hope you will give them a chance. If you have a problem, ask for Peter. He can't fix things that he is not aware of!

AMAZING SUSHI, INCREDIBLE DEAL, GREAT SERVICE!!!. Fuji Sushi in San Marco is AMAZING! Not only is the sushi incredible, the price is unbelievable. $10.99 for all you can eat, freshly made to order sushi? Yes, that's the deal and they exceed all of our expectations. I've been coming here for over 2-yrs at least once per week with my BFF. The service is great, they know us by name now, and the sushi is consistently great! It's the only place I will eat sushi anymore. Everyplace else seems overpriced for lower quality food. They even have other items to order in the $10.99 deal for those that may dine with you that aren't sushi lovers or kids. Don't believe any of the poor reviews on here, we've never had a bad experience. On rare occasion, we might have to wait a little longer to get our order if every seat is taken in the restaurant but that is rare. But if you're spending quality time with great friends and family, who cares? It's still worth the wait on those rare occasions (usually only Friday's at noon). We usually order 12 rolls and 2 salads and from the time we step in the door, eat, pay, and leave it's only 30-minutes in and out. Again, AMAZING sushi, AWESOME deal! You can't beat it in Jacksonville!
The Best Sushi. This is the best sushi place I have ever been to. People are right, the service is sometimes crappy and they do mess up, but for the price of $9.99 for lunch and $15.99 for dinner, that is unbeatable for all you can eat, FRESH, made at the sushi bar - sushi. It is not sushi on a cooling plate in a buffet line and that's what makes it different. The servers are nice except one that just seems like she never wants to be there. The owner is a nice lady and the hibachi and other menu items besides sushi are reasonable and pretty good also. I would stick with the sushi, and try the steak hibachi. Give these people a chance, they are rotating new staff all the time.
For the price and all you can eat, it is great. The service is not good. The sushi is average, but you can't beat the price. Order a lot on the first round because a second order will take a while. Don't leave any on the plate or they will charge you, even if they mess up and bring you the wrong item...
OMG! This is fresh, made-to-order, all-you-can-eat sushi, and it is so yummy! If you haven't been and you like sushi, you have to try it.
Freakin' Awesome. This place is awesome! This is my new favorite place! C'mon people, how many of you can afford to eat as much sushi as you want as often as you want! Not until now, for me.
The service was friendly and attentive (thanks Mariah and company), the sushi was as good as Sushi Cafe or Wasabi and better than Sumo Sushi. Plus, non-sushi eaters (kids) can also get in on the All-you-can-eat for $9.99 deal with offerings such as French fries, chicken fingers, teriyaki chicken, etc. Not my kid, he eats sushi.
I will be here at several times a week.
Admittedly, it's not Jiro Dreams of Sushi, but its not $300 a tuna roll either.

Used by Groupon. I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant last night. Sushi chef Kai, prepared fresh, tasty rolls. The JB Roll, made with smoked salmon and cream cheese, was good. My favorite roll was the Salmon Katzu Roll with deep fried salmon, cheese and avocado eel sauce. My entree was the shrimp hibachi style with fried rice on the side. It came with a generous amount of shrimp and the rice was very light and tasty. The staff was attentive; Dave, Christine, Kai and Nicole were open and cheerful, and clearly knew what they were doing. I met the owner and he informed me that they offer their sushi rolls for half price during the week. The prices were fair, the service was wonderful and I truly enjoyed my meal.
Overall I really enjoy the sushi here. However, the other comments are correct- the service is terrible everytime. Not a difficult fix. The benches wobble. And for a newer restaurant it should be much trendier.
Great food, Ok sevice. I was on business trip here from New York, try to find a good sushi restaurant , i was really LOVE sushi they make, it taste sooo fresh and well prepare, service is little slow when i get there on Saturday night , it was busy, but it worth to wait, compare to where i am from it is good enough, next time when i in town , i will be visit again.

Had an AWESOME dinner with friends and family!!. My husband loves sushi! We were very excited to find Fuji Sushi! The sushi is fresh and very reasonable! The special they do on Saturday is awesome! I have also had the Steak/Chicken Hibachi and was very impressed! We have been to a couple times now and the food has been fresh and wonderful every time! I am looking forward to visiting again real soon! I will definately invite all my friends to your place!
Sushi Lunch. I love that there are sushi combinations to choose from for lunch in addition to the hibachi lunch choices. I had the tempura shrimp and the dynamite roll. Like the entrees, the rolls come with soup & salad - I think. Ours actually came with just soup, though the soup was very good and so were the sushi rolls.
Heard about this place from a few co-workers. Walked in and the place was packed. But we were seated immediately. Failed to realize it was all you can eat but we did ask the waitress if we could just order a few rolls and she was pleasant and said “of course!” She then handed us a different set of menus. We ordered our rolls and edamame’s. The edamame’s were perfect, crunchy and salty but perfect. The rolls were executed perfectly! Mine was a little special I get a soy wrapping not seaweed and it was done right. Would definitely come back here again. Thank you!
Elevated buffet. I absolutely love this place because it’s all you can eat, but unlike a traditional buffet, the servers bring you the items you choose from the menu. This process makes everything more sanitary and fresh. The food is always prepared to perfection. The two things I usually order are the miso soup and dynamite rolls and I’ve never been disappointed. The service is pretty fast with your order once you sit down but waiting to get a seat can take quite a bit of time if you come at the busy hours. I suggest to come 15 min before busy house and you won’t be waiting as long. Speaking of service, don’t expect the waitresses to be cherry or anything, they try to be as efficient as possible which means they are very straight to the point…. I don’t mind this because that just means faster service. Overall I would highly recommend making this on of the places you go to when you want a big meal.
I am Vegetarian this location was fast and had good taste the potato roll and tempura veggies are my favorites we love this location better than the other the service wss ok but gets too slow when it becomes full inside. We will try again
Why are you guys so good and why are you guys always busy yet always so yummy !!!! Busy love coming here when I have a weekday off. And yes I wait for 45min with a smile. Yes parking is a pain… but what the heck. It’s fresh and it’s priced perfect. Just your uncomplicated but clean packed but not crowded sushi place. You can never go wrong!

I really love this place and I have been here plenty of times but their servers are rude. Being a foreigner myself I understand that it is a cultural thing not to care much about customer service, but guess what? I changed my ways because I am not in my country anymore, I am in America and being rude here is equal to Not tips. The food is always good 👍. I guess that's what I keep coming back 😂😂.
It's a nice restaurant offering sushi and nigiri. The nigiri was really good as well as the sushi. The price is $21.99 for all you can eat. The place was crowded, but they found us a table with a short wait. We were waited upon quickly, and even the food came fast. I was actually surprised by the speed. The place is not fancy. However, it seems to be well organized. I think it's their staff that work so efficiently as a team. There is free parking. However, the parking is limited and shared by many businesses in the area. If you like sushi, then Fuji Sushi is worth a visit when dining in the San Marcos area of Jacksonville!
$15 on a Saturday lunch all you can eat sushi which includes premium rolls, steak hibachi, nigiri, and hand rolls? Yes please! We happen to just pass by and didn’t realize it was an AYCE place. We ate so much. We enjoyed everything and they have over 100 different things on their menu to try. They give small portions of everything which I love so we can the different things and have less waste. Is it the best sushi you’ll ever have? Of course not. But for AYCE it is an insane deal and we will be back for more.
Wonderful authentic cuisine, freshly prepared by at least 6 chefs with very little wait time for your order. Choose from a fabulous variety of sushi choices or the traditional soup, rice/noodles, salad and salad with your main entree. The service is excellent and the price is appropriate for the huge amount of food you receive. I loved the traditional grilled salmon plate! The setting inside is very comfortably casual. I didn't have sushi, but was told that it was the Best ever by the people with me!

I was in town visiting family and decided to stop by to have some lunch before leaving. I was extremely pleased with everything that I got. The plates are served tapas style, so they are small, but filling. To order, you fill out little sheets of paper with the item number you want. The servers pick up the sheets and the food is brought to your table. If you need your server at anytime, there are buttons on the wall that you can press to alert them of what you need. The atmosphere was quite nice as well and I will definitely be going back again whenever I'm in town.

We went to eat at 3pm which is unfortunately the time they usually close to set up for dinner and reopen at 5pm. We were back and one of the first people in. While long (because we were hungry) the wait was aww so worth it. My new favorite is the rock n roll sushi 😊

Lots of different food to choose from hibachi to raw sushi to fried sushi rolls. Something for everyone. Fried or steamed dumplings. Fried veggies and plenty of vegetable sushi rools. Always fresh!!
