Great food with a “made by Dad” touch to it. Don’t get offended by the staff. If they pick on you it means they like you. It’s all in good fun. The atmosphere is nostalgia and some sarcasm. It’s a fun experience. I can’t wait to come back and try the burger. Looks exactly like what my dad use

My families in town so we wanted the closest breakfast place in town and we loved it! As soon as we came in there was great oldies music and we were warmly greeted and the atmosphere was great! It's a very family friendly diner and great prices. We will definitely be coming back!
Danos is your all American diner with delicious burgers and great vibes. If you're in the mayport area I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!

Loved the diner set up, the owner was so awesome and fun to listen to and talk with! He was cracking jokes, had us all laughing 🤣 a great and fun atmosphere with awesome delicious food!! Huge portions too!! All in all we had a great experience and plan to make this spot a favorite to go to!!

Went there for the first time this morning. Read so many great reviews I had to try Dano’s. The biscuit with sausage gravy was delicious. I will be going for more when I move to Jacksonville. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
I don't mix politics and food so I was hesitant to leave a review, but regardless the food was indeed enjoyable and the jokes were a plenty. If you're a softy you should dine elsewhere .
