The Pig Bbq - Jacksonville - Photo album

Talk about an amazing hole-in the wall, local BBQ spot! We were driving through Jacksonville and decided we had to try this place. I had the rib plate with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Ribs were amazing! Smoky flavor and tender! Greens were delicious! Tried the chicken and it was incredi
Very friendly service and excellent food. All at a good price.
I gave 5 stars because the Normandy Location is usually great and because I did not have to experience what I experienced last month from that store manager, and when went there a couple nights ago they were having to close early because they had no customers. 2 times in a row our take out order wa
I really enjoy coming here, the food never disappoints. The mac and cheese is delicious and the bread. The sauces are good as well but i’m never sure which is which. Labeling them would be nice so I actually know the name of them but other than that, this place is amazing.
Great pulled pork and Cole slaw. Thankfully the BBQ beans were not "beans in syrup", and they tasted great.
We are long time fans of the Pig. I have been eating here since I was very young. Service is friendly and efficient. Last visit: Food came out quick and was very hot and fresh. The main draw at The Pig is the Pig sauce, but it was nice to have such a good meal as well.
I haven't been in a while, so I decided to stop in for a bite to eat, I will return again, the ribs was tender, the reason for 4stars, because they were not hot, other than that, it was good.
The Pig is my favorite place to eat. I love their barbecue and don't even get mestarted about the sauce.
We love the Pig Bar-B-Q! The food is always perfect and the service is just as great!!
The Westside of Jacksonville is a bit lacking in BBQ joints so The Pig is a welcome relief. My wife and I both had the three meat dinners. We both prefer dark meat and we were under the impression that's what you would receive unless you requested otherwise. We both got white meat. Oh well. I asked
I had the pork and sausage as they were out of the turkey with fries and baked beans, pork was deliciously smoked and moist. Sausage was good as well but not blow you out of the water. The surprise of the meal was the baked beans as most places are just doctored up baked beans but these were defini
My favorite breakfast spot, convenient to Murray Hill but never any wait for a weekend breakfast. Employees are very friendly and learned our “usuals” quickly. Home-cooked style breakfast at great prices. Coffee is fresh and I never see the bottom of my cup. We go every weekend, at least once! I can
Ribs are delicious! Need to offer sliced pork option. Fried corn is way too small portion and need to up their game on bread. Instead of garlic toast or Texas toast they offer just a slice of white bread. Simple but good tasting food. Not pretentious.
I’ve been going to “The Pig” on Normandy Blvd. for several years now and I have no complaints. The employees are always super nice and the food is always good! They have somehow managed to keep their prices low too after all these years and I especially appreciate that! And who can resist the PIG’S
We order from here a lot. The food is usually great. They have amazing cold slaw. My only issue is we usually request for the sweet bbq sauce and usually that gets ignored and we only get the house sauce. If you guys see this please try to add the sweet sauce when we request it.
