Cafe has been around for a bit but recently Chef Trey has taken over the kitchen and the lunch I had was so good! Very good Caribbean Fare. I had the Cuban sandwich and the special appetizer of the day was Lobster hush puppies with blue cheese. Can't wait to go back and try other things
I love this place!!! They have the best chicken sandwich in the world. They have homemade pickles that are to die for! The lobster jalapeño hush puppies are my new favorite app.

This place was recommended to my older son and we were not disappointed. Ordered take out and tried the jerk wings. Being Jamaican, it was not authentic but we asked for well done and it was done to my liking and flavorful. Visited a few days later and dined in with my younger son and his girlfriend
This place is fantastic. I stop by after work every couple of weeks and I'm never disappointed! The shrimp tacos are the best I've had and the burgers are amazing. The staff is extremely accommodating with anything you need, and are always so friendly and welcoming.

Friendly place, friendly service, with simply good food. The restaurant is clean and definitely has a "get-away" vibe. Original artwork by the owner is lovely and helps to really anchor the bahamas/island atmosphere. Excellent burgers and I love the fish sandwich.
Ladies this is the cleanest restaurant in Jacksonville including the bathrooms. Great relaxing atmosphere, nice wine selection and friendly wait staff. The conch fritters are the best I have had here and the Cuban sandwich as good as the keys. Check out this hidden treasure!!!!
Always heard great things about Blackfly from my coworkers and since it's walking distance from the office, I decided to give it a try for lunch. It's hidden in a small strip so I wasn't expecting much, but when we walked in, I was so pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly and seated immediate
First time here and it is awesome. Chef Tre came around and talks to everyone. Great guy. Cares about his work and patrons. All the staff was great. Place is tucked away in a corner of a strip-mall with decor and food of the Caribbean. Next time I’m in town, I will be back.
Friendly service and excellent food. Don't let the cafe fool you I had blackened trigger fish with rice and beans and sweet plantains! So delish and a great price. My favorite place to eat out on Jacksonville.

Me & The Husband Tried Trigger Fish For The First Time And It Was The Best Piece Of Fish I Ever Had. We Had The Fried Fish And It Was Light And Flaky And Crispy Without A Heavy Batter. Atmosphere is great, food overall is great. The fried shrimp were a little overdone, but otherwise the meal was delicious. It's a little pricey for the amount you get, but the unique offerings make it almost worth what you pay.
