Always fresh, always seasoned, and always the right portions. I drove 1 hour to get to Jacksonville and another hour around Jacksonville attempting to locate this spot I had been brought to a few months earlier and was pleased. I found it! #22 Whiting and wings taste so good!
Every time I do a road trip from SC to Florida, JJs is a must. The seafood is so amazing. Not overpowered with to much seasonings but just right. The crabs are full and the mussels are plump. I love it here.
Listen.... these crabs gave me life today. Now this isn’t a fancy sit down restaurant but it’s perfect to pick up and go. They also offer delivery and I don’t know any crab joints that deliver blue crabs! They had everything you could ask for snow crabs, blue crabs, shrimp, crawfish, mussels, etc. meals can be steamed with Garlic butter or fried. I recommend the garlic butter bc that sauce is delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty. They also have a seafood market for fresh seafood. Their prices are fantastic as well! I had snow and blue crab as well as shrimp and it was only $30 which is great! You’d pay twice that amount for this much food in most places especially in Orlando where I live. And it was way too much for one person to eat. If you are for looking for good food without the fuss you definitely want to stop here! Bottom line is I would definitely return ! We drove up from Gainesville just to order food at this fine establishment. This is the best garlic crab plates I’ve ever had in my life. Their prices are extremely affordable, the seafood quality is phenomenal and the JJ special sauce is a dream. They have a range of options from crawfish to crab, sausage and sides, and it’s all so delicious. I highly recommend anyone seeking great, heavily seasoned, flavorful seafood stop here and check it out! You will not regret it! I was able to feed 5 people off $85 bux and we still couldn’t eat it all

Nice seafood spot nestled in a lowly mini strip next to Burger King, but offers a wide variety of cooked, fresh and live Seafood as well as other options, mostly fried, such as Wings, Tenders, Fish, Shrimp, etc.
They also have an AMAZING house-made Garlic Butter sauce in both Mild & Spicy that you can put on just about ANYTHING!!
Definitely check out their Shrimp trays and Fried Crabs.
Always been there when they first opened I believe it was between 2006 2007 I could be wrong but there great!

We are out-of-towners but Thankfully found JJ's on Google. Not only great food, portions, and prices but great service by the young man and his father or uncle (we're assuming).
Their homemade sauces are AMAZING. We have traveled a lot of places and eaten a lot of food and never tasted anything like it. It is truly unique and delicious. 👈🏼
We got to chat with the young man a bit and learned a little of his story.. truly a remarkable young man.. and quite a plight for his family to get to the USA.
I respect any who has to overcome the barriers of language.. social, economic, and other prejudices. He shared some of that with me and I think he should be commended for his courage and intelligence. I'm always happy to see ppl overcome the stuff they have to go thru to get to the USA and not only survive, but thrive... and maintain a good attitude! I'll bet that young man has more success in his life. .. we will certainly be rooting for him. 👈🏼😁👍🏼

I always love getting my seafood from here. Just purchased some oysters with my bf and they were amazingly large and definitely had the whole family happy and full. It was my first time eating oysters and my son. All I can say it was great.
First time came from Orlando the staff was really nice and helpful seems like a busy spot but there fast service n very good n very clean spot also they gave lots on ur platter thanks team
Food Is Delicious. I got blue crabs & Lemon pepper wings. The service was Okay. The food came is prepared in a reasonable time. Prices are reasonable as well.
The neighborhood is a little on the rough side so wouldn't recommend going at night but daytime is pretty safe . would definitely return back and recommend to anyone wanting good food.

I know I love they fish dinners, the fish be so long it hangs out the plate. Today I tried the fried shrimp & garlic bread, hubby had the wings with house sauce and it too was Sooo good! Can't wait to try their garlic trays next.
Fresh seafood. Great service. I saw the news broadcast of that dirty trash that ste.from your store with her kids and mother. Press charges and put their pictures on Nextdoor and Facebook. If there are no consequences, we're only enabling them. That should be the case for all of america. If there are no consequences for breaking the rules for citizens, policeman, or a government officials, what's left for us?

Their house special sauce boils are amazing! Wonderful, fragrant spice and delicious quality seafood and hibachi. Takes a bit but absolutely worth it.
