We usually eat at Denny's in Jacksonville at least once every two weeks. The food & service are always great. We do not drink, but they have a beautiful new bar. This is the best Denny's in East Texas.
The food was hot and delicious. Service was excellent and polite. Highly recommend this establishment

We had a terrific dining experience. We were greeted and seated quickly. We had an amazing waitress, Don't remember her name though. Will be going back again soon.

The food was great, but I was more impressed with Anette! She is fantastic! Ask for her when you go, she'll take good care of you. My 6yo son and I love coming here for little mom/son dates and we always enjoy ourselves.
I come here for breakfast every morning. The staff is always very friendly. Great management! Angel knows what she is doing for sure! I always ask for Annette as my server, she is awesome! Always made sure my drinks were filled, made sure the order was correct and to my liking, she would check on me and see how the food was, very courteous and professional. I'll see yall tomorrow morning for my usual cup of coffee! Thank yall for starting my morning on the right foot
A real nice restaurant. It even has outside dining with a fire place and a bar. Friendly staff. Great food. Yes it took a while to get it but we were warned due to being short handed. Hey in this day and time we are used to that. Yes some items are out. But then again one should be used to this. We enjoyed our time here.
Stopped in for lunch after Church with friends & got seated quickly. Our server was Angel & she certainly was!!! Great service , attitude & to quote an Angel "I'm a Professional " , She even made us a Stronger Pot of coffee while we waited for our food. Very Very Professional !!! Thanks Angel !!!😎🇺🇸🌄
Annette was a wonderful waitress. She was very attentive on getting us what we needed before we had to ask. She was also fun, energetic and playfully chatted with us. The food was good with many options on the menu.

As I have told people before, I love Denny's. I have to tell you the truth. I gave this Denny's a Soft 4, because of the employees. They, (of the few that were there), were nice. I went right after lunch time and there wasn't any other diners there, so that might account for the few employees. There was only one or two waitresses per shift that I saw. The 1st waitress, when asked to come seat me, barely acknowledged me, and seemed put-out that I was there. But, in honesty, wound up being really nice to me, even bringing me fresh tomatoes and cheese when I asked if the tomatoes were supposed to come on my Cobb Salad, (which was very good, but could have had more avocado, since I like them so much!). The salad was large and fresh, too. The 2nd waitress was even more friendly and helpful. I know that this review is long, but I am not through. LOL. My negative opinion is about the cleanliness and upkeep. I don't know if they had just been too busy, since lunch hour, but the ladies restroom had not been swept, (dead bugs, trash, etc.), paper and paper towels were strewn around, and had a really bad odor. On the way back to my table, each a/c vent was leaking water on the floor and only when I mentioned that it could be dangerous, was one hazard cone put out. Then they started cleaning. My hope is that I am wrong and that they just hadn't had time yet to do it. I do not want to get these nice people in trouble if I am.
