I had a wonderful fresh hot steak fried burrito 🌯.
It was perfect. Fast. Gave a little beeper when food was ready. I cant wait to try more of their food. Best food at atlas park.
I come here for lunch every other Tuesday, and order their burrito. Not just any burrito, their steak offering. It's packed. Pricey, but not like I eat it everyday. Seating can be tough when they are busy.
Edit: 10/24/17 Upgrading their rating from 4 to 5 stars. I look forward to my hour lunch every other Tuesday. Why? Because I get to order their portobello mushroom salad. It’s the best salad I ever had!! Fresh ingredients, clean and sanitary. Food prep can be a slow if they’re busy, but everything is fresh.
If you want to order ahead via phone be prepared to give your credit card! The shrimp Mac n cheese was EVERYTHING! So creamy & delish. As we sat and waited for our order, I couldn’t help but notice how great the ambiance was. From trophies on the wall to the Mexican flag to the rooster art to the music, it was great! Loved the chorizo quesadilla, it was a little greasy but it was delicious. The wings were crispy & the Buffalo sauce was spicy. The tres leche cake was a little dry on top, definitely have had better. However, I would still highly recommend.
The food was great, not excellent. Best Mexican food in the area in my opinion. For 22$ it was a solid meal that had me stuffed. I would definitely eat her again as the ambiance is nice and I’m coming back for the three cheese empánada. The agua de tamarindo is a little watery for my taste. Service was good too.
I like the ambiance of the place.. it's a nice nook for Jamaica ave. The fish tacos I ordered were very good. I would pass on the mac and cheese if your use to southern flavorful mac which I am.
I also ordered a white sangria which i thoroughly enjoyed. Good customer service, I'd say great on my next visit when I actually get my sauce I asked about 3x.;)
Where I work, people always ask me where is a nice place to eat around here! I always tell them "Don Nicos" Not only is the Food is Good, you can order on the go. But if you want to sit down. The decor is very inviting. People have business meeting at this place from time to time. Interviews are done here then they eat. Or grab a drink. A Genuine Sweet Spot .. If you ask me
The best. The food never disappoints. Today I had shrimp Brooklyn style wrap. Too good. They have fining and clean bathrooms. They also have freshly made juices

Always fresh, always fast, always delicious hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Queens, maybe the whole city! There are certain items on the menu that are better than others such as the tacos of course and the tres leches cake. I would start clear if the Salmon Aneli, the flavors are just kind of weird. The service has been excellent thus far. The drink are also very good. Especially the Sangria.
Loved the food so much, it was fresh and even tasted homemade. It was delicious.
I didn’t want to post this because I really enjoy this place but I had to. I’ve been eating at Don Nicos since they opened in Jamaica, Queens. The food and service is always great and I’ve introduced others to this place. However, I recently ordered a desert from them and the next day I went to eat it and there was mold growing on it. I had the desert refrigerated so there’s really no excuse, other than the cake was old to begin with or perhaps they did not store it properly before selling it. Either way, I’m disappointed because now I’m leery about ordering from here again. I gave Don Nicos 4 stars tho because I’ve always had a 5 star experience here until now and I don’t want to completely trash the place because of this.
Food is a bit pricey but the restaurant is beautiful. A quiet gem in a noisy hood.
What happen to the Jamaica Ave location? I’ve been going there for almost 3-4 years . There has been no information on why this location is no longer open I tried calling the store and asking the stores social media .
The food here is delicious! Ordered a Chimichanga and couldn’t finish it. Definitely coming back to enjoy the drinks next time. Thank you!
