I have been going to this Golden Krust for a long time, their food use to be better but it’s still good. The service is normally great but this one older lady can be very rude even when I’m being polite. People normally think I look like a child but I’m 26 and every time she’s there, she talks to me like im a child. For instance, I came in to get a lunch special and you get a soda or water with it I told her no I wanted a ginger beer. She said that’s not what I asked you and repeats the question. My answer was still the same.

I ordered the Oxtail, vegetables, and rice and peas. The food was fresh, the people were patient and aimed to please. When I asked them alter my portions the did, no problem. We have a Golden Krust here in Atlanta and I've never visited. My best friend and I go out to eat every Friday after work and just recently we rode past and he said, "what the got up in there? I always see a line out of the door". Now, I can tell him and, hopefully the are just as good as this one. UPDATE: This is Feb 2023. My previous review was 3 years ago. I have since visited two locations in metro Atlanta, and I am sorry to say that their food quality pales tremendusly to this location. I've also visited a few other Jamaican restaurants here. All but one couldn't even come close to this place. 3 yrs later when Google reminded me, I still remember the flavor, textures, and freshness of this place's food. That food was so good. If I ever go back to NYC (It was my first time, for my birthday), I will definitely be eating there again.

I usually come here for the chicken soup and it’s always on point. I use to get beef and bread that was pretty good too. Employees are attentive and nice.

I used to stop by this location often while in school and still pop in whenever I'm in the area. The flavors in the dishes are very fresh, and the oxtail is some of the best that I've tasted in the area. This is one of the few Golden Krust locations that actually has all of the pattie flavors in stock, although as with all patties, the earlier one gets there, the better. I also love the fresh juice blends like the sorrel and the cucumber ginger, as well as the variety of bakery items.

Small little place with delicious food, tastes like grandma’s kitchen. I have had oxtail, chicken curry, and goat curry. Their food is packed full of flavor, lots of seasonings, and the spicy level is pretty up there. This is 100% comfort food. The staff are all very nice and welcoming. I try to eat here once a week, otherwise I miss the flavors and have strong cravings. It’s much better recently, after the pandemic-the place is less crowded but the food tastes very fresh, hot, and delicious!

he food is very good and portions are large. However, I am not pleased with the service. One of the workers who works the AM shift is quite rude. I'll not be going here for food any more.

When the meat is finished from the cow foot soup, it should be sold at a discounted rate. It’s a rip off to still charge $10 for soup water and dumplings with no meat. That’s the least you can do for your loyal customers. And also, it’s disrespectful to serve someone cold soup!! The owner is not cordial to customers when she’s behind the counter. She acts like she forgets who keeps the doors of her business open. The convenient location is why I keep going back - but they can do much better!! Also, you guys need to start making salt fish and butter beans daily like you used to👌🏽

Nice place to grab a quick bite before you hit the subway. We had a cup of chicken soup before we catch the E train to Manhattan. It was hot and tasty. If you like Jamaican food you could stop by here. Nice spot for soup on a cold winter's night. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.

Not bad. Jerk chicken is good. A but on the pricey side considering the establishment. Wish they had festivles more often.
