Omgosh. I love this place so very much. The owners are awesome, food is amazing and service is friendly.
Seriously though. This food! Chef Lindsay is genius. The quality of food for the price; especially in Jasper, is wonderful. The lunch prices, especially, are great.
Some of our favorite dishes are the fried or grilled pork chops, hamburger steak, shrimp n grits, burgers and those heavenly pan roasted sweet potatoes. You really can't go wrong.
Note that a reservation is required for evenings.

The meatloaf was amazing, delicious sides. I had sweet potatoes and greens for my sides.
We heard about Black Rock Bistro and checked out the menu online. Went on a Wednesday and got the last table available for lunch. Love the atmosphere and layout, small but eclectic and fun. Had the double cheeseburger while my wife had the shrimp Po Boy. Maybe the best burger I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned beef, cooked to perfection and enough for two. Po Boy on fresh Gambino’s bread, lightly battered shrimp were terrific. Highly recommend!
Be far, this is the best restaurant in Walker County. And I’d say it’s one of top 20 restaurants in AL.
I’ve had trout, ribeye, catfish, smashed burger and few other things here and everything was delicious.
It’s usually very crowded and that makes sense but it’s worth the wait.
The staff is very friendly and has a very nice atmosphere.
I highly recommend this place if you’re ever near Jasper!
The food was very good. Staff was quick. Prices are high for the area. However, the quality of the food is beyond the price. Liken it to Perry's or Flemming's. Very fresh & portions are very good. The pictures are of the Fillet Mignon, Blackened Halibut, and Blackened Grouper. Dessert was crispy creme bread pudding. It's was very good as well. The best place to eat in Walker county & most of Jefferson county.
Me and my wife had a late dinner date and it was excellent. I had the catfish ponchatrain and it was perfect. My wife got the ribeye and she loved it. I finally begged her for a bite lol and it was one of the best tasting steaks I’ve ever tried. The staff was very friendly also.
Fantastic dinner. We loved everything on the table. Very fairly priced for the quality. We will definitely be coming back.
