Stopped in there today for the first time ever and grabbed a pulled pork and a brisket sandwich. The brisket was seriously the best brisket I have ever had. The pork was amazing too!! I will definitely be back again!!
My worst day this week:: racing home from downtown Atlanta with the best beef brisket on my mind. Get to Iron Pig only to find them closed because it is after 6:00 and it is Wednesday! Love this place. Best Beef Brisket EVER!

Worth a drive to Jefferson. Best baked beans I've ever had. They are sweet with 3 types of beans and ground MEAT. The pork is tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked. Finally, the whole chicken is one of the best around. It;s so tasty it doesn't need the BBQ sauce (but it's even better with it). I highly recommend the cole slaw too!

Coming from a family that has cooked BBQ for generations, it is hard to find any that can compare to ours. But I'd always heard good things about this place and knew it'd be a while before I could get any of ours, so I decided to try it. W. O. W. this is the closest thing I've found to my grandaddy's. It is absolutely mind blowing!!! No fat whatsoever in the meat, and it's smoked perfectly. I have a huge family and always end up spending a fortune to feed our family. Not here!! I get the family pack which consists of a pound and a half of meat, (2) one quart sides, 12 buns, lg. sauce, and a gallon of sweet tea!!! You get all that for around $25. You just can't beat that deal. The beans are so delicious, they're mixed beans with ground beef, slightly sweet and delicious. The stew is out of this world, the slaw is some of the best I've ever had. It's not sweet and it doesn't have a bunch of junk in it, it's a true representation of southern slaw and the sweet tea is like your grandmothers. The staff is so sweet and helpful. They will give you samples if you want to taste something before buying it. If you want some good BBQ, EAT HERE! You'll be hooked just like we are. OH - and even my Grandaddy and Daddy drive from out of town to pick up a family pack of this magical meal. And just like my Grandaddy says, "it's so good, it'll make your tongue wanna slap your brains out!!"
Iron Pig. I must Warn you about the Pig if you are not careful you will eat your arm off all the way up to the elbow . we always get the value pk. you get bbq 2 sides, buns & a gal. of tea. we get 3 or 4 meals out of it. this is a real winner

Best BBQ!!!!. I am a huge fan of bbq. I decided one day to give Iron Pig BBQ a shot, Ill be honest at first when i saw the place I was immediatly judging it(from the road view). then once I got up to it I thought to my self ok its kinda cute with the bbq being cooked in the train and all. When I went to pay all I had with me was my debit card as well as my co-workers debit card for his food, all they take it cash or check. The owner told me not to worry about it just to come back one day and pay him. I couldnt believe it..no one these days does things like that, then I tried the bbq...all i can say is OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! It is mouth watering. I literally crave it daily. I give them two thumps up...5 stars however you want to rate them. They are amazing.... food...staff and all.

This is the BEST BBQ in GA hands down. Nice and lean and the sauces are fabulous!! We get a pound, mild and hot sauce, coleslaw and go home to eat bbq all weekend! Worth the drive from everywhere!!
Fabulous. Delivered for an HOA event. Immaculately lean, so good you won't want the bun! Beans were amazing, sauce was good, pretty tangy. Slaw was good.
Great food. My family eats there regularlly and always enjoys it. Their brunswick stew is extremly good as is the pork sandwitch with very generous portions.
Pulled pork awesome.....sauce so-so. I bring their pulled pork (1lb for $10) home often and I just have them leave the sauce off. The pork itself is delicious and I just add my own sauce.
The time-tested rule about local places is "go where the locals go." Yes, the parking lot was full and the line long, and this was the real deal. I thought the taste of everything on my pulled pork plate was excellent. You order your food at the window on the right and when it's ready they give it to you through the window on the left. Yes, they need about one more staff member to get things going faster. But the food is good. I respect the views of the other commentators that there is room for improvement. But if you want some authentic southern BBQ, this is the place.

Wonderful food, wonderful people! Be sure and stop by the Pig, even if it's just a little bit out of the way. I came from Winder, it was well worth the trip! Smoky pork, stew, slaw and the best beans you've ever had! You won't be disappointed, I guarantee!
