I’ve been getting Haydel’s King Cakes delivered here to the Midwest every year for about 8 years now for my Mardi Gras party. By far the best anywhere and worth every penny!
Unlike any other place in the world...Would never buy a kingcake from anywhere else. From the moment we parked, we could smell the fresh kingcake..Haydel's Bakery makes me proud to be the 3rd generation,raising my children, in Old Jefferson. Haydel's Bakery is the jewel of 70121.
Ordered my wedding cake few weeks ago and it was literally the best cake I've ever had. Only thing I regret is that we didn't have time to get more and should have boxed up rest to go. I will definitely be ordering from them again!! We ordered regular white/almond cake with buttercream frosting! I'm just curious if they ship as we live out of state!!

Amazing! Best king cake experience I have ever had with super sweet staff. This was a much more pleasant group of people than Randazzo's. I am not from New Orleans and know hardly anything about how to find a good king cake, but knew I wanted one, and I do know a lot about what I expect in a good king cake. Haydel's is awesome, inexpensive and I will go back. We got the strawberry cream cheese (AMAzING). Next time, by recommendation from the staff, we will get the praline pecan. The best part is that the filling is not over powering. It's just enough on the top layer to fulfill you sweet crave, but not to take over the king cake with overpowering sweetness. DELICIOUS!
I ordered a King cake for a late Mardi Gras-themed slumber party in TN. Haydel's is now the ONLY place I'll buy from. The cake was enough for a house full of girls, most of whom had never had one before, and everyone raved about how delicious it was. Can't wait for the next one :)

Great service and delicious dessert. The birthday cake I wanted was not available in the display case. They checked in the back for me and had exactly what I wanted . They trained it in Saints colors while I waited.
A true New Orleans icon for your King cake...best in town! Cookies, fudge and cupcakes too!
Thank you!!! Ordered a king cake for delivery on 1/18 in Maine. Shipped 1/17, delivered 1/18. It might last until the 19th, but I doubt it! It's delicious!! We prefer king cakes with sugar only and no white icing... this is perfection! As a Cajun living up north, you have no idea how much it means to me to be able to a fresh king cake shipped overnight to me!
Just sent a Pecan Praline King Cake to my college freshman in California. Paid the $65 for the cake and overnight delivery and SO WORTH IT. It was a nice size for a bunch of kids and arrived fresh and delicious at noon. So happy I did this and I will for sure do it again.

My husband always wants German chocolate cake for his birthday. I eat it, but it's not my favorite. This time he picked one up from Haydel's and it was the best German chocolate cake I've ever had. I ate three slices the next day, and it was still moist and delicious. I guess I'm a convert. I might get one for my birthday too!
I ordered a praline pecan king cake yesterday and it arrived in New Mexico today in perfect condition. It’s absolutely divine. Moist, fresh overstuffed and heavenly. Reminded me of home! I love the extras they include and the coffee was amazing as well and complimented the cake perfectly. I’m so impressed with the quality and value of this purchase! Highly recommend. Easily 10 stars! ✨
So this is my favorite bakery and it's a must I stop in and get a bunch of treats for all my family. So darn good...

Awesome German Chocolate Cake and their large eclairs are filled with a chocolate mousse...decadent!
