Fantastic Canadian walleye dinner. Others had fresh perch or salmon. All immensely enjoyed their meal. Sides included polenta, spaghetti squash and loaded baked potato. Our server, Eric, was efficient and personable.
This was a Mystery Dinner for a group of Seniors. Most of which had never been there. The food is outstanding. Only reason for 4 stars was because of the seating, we were so crammed in there I felt like the two tables next to us were sitting at our table, also we unfortunately got some younger drunk kids next to us that made it hard to enjo
What a delicious dinner we had. Everything was fresh made. I had the salmon. The Brown sugar coating made it exquisite. Although the slanted tables and glasses were different,we were able to enjoy the river and all the birds feeding. All in all,a wonderful surprise.
Googled restaurants in Jefferson and showed up at 4:30pm and got in but next time I will make a reservation. Small but very cozy Northwoods vibe. Had a great Old Fashion. Wonderful meal but the Kansas Strip was a little grisly. The staff was amazing and even gave a brief history of the restauran
Perfect example of a Wisconsin hole-in-the-wall gem. Out in the middle of nowhere, crazy-small, and a helluva Friday fish fry. Popped in and got it for takeout after having driven past a few times and it was great. The bartender nailed my whiskey old-fashioned while it was cooking, also.
