Tortuga Jacks Restaurant - Jekyll Island - Photo album

What a fun spot. Sitting outside with a view of the ocean was fantastic. We loved the oldster rock band. The burritos 🌯 and tacos were huge and yummy. We had fun. The top shelf Patron margaritas 🍹 were mighty fine. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table.
Our first time and it was superb. We had a 15 minute wait, but grabbed a menu to view and decide our grub before being seated. Our waitress was Rebecca and man she was spot on with our orders. She was excellent with my kids too. Can. Not wait to go back to Jekyll.
Nice treat on the island. The food is a great option for when you want more than sandwiches but less than a fancy steakhouse...and the food flavors are good, too! We had the nachos, the fajitas, and the enchiladas and they did not disappoint. The service was excellent also.
Ok, so this is a review specifically for breakfast. I have to admit I hadn't been to Tortuga Jack's before, but knew it is a baja Mexican, beach bar kinda place and so, I had lower expectations. Breakfast was spot on delicious, portion sizes were satisfying, the service was good, although there we
We ended up having lunch here two days in a row, once outside and once inside. Our waitress outside was so fun and really engaging. We enjoyed chatting with her during her visits to the table. The inside waitress was kind and attentive. Food was out fast and tasted delicious. First visit I had the
Nice enough place, they were out of a few items we hoped to try but that’s understandable. Chips and queso were good, salsa was basically just tomato paste and bland. Shrimp diablo was really good as well, 2 fire(?) on their menu but would say it was mild to low medium heat overall. The tacos and
The food was so good. Flavorful and seasoned to perfection! The customer service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was very nice--family oriented.
We love Tortuga Jacks! We normally enjoy lunch or dinner here, but we also tried their breakfast for the first time. The breakfast eggs benedict was okay, but we wish we'd tried something else that was recommended. We enjoy their peel & eat shrimp the most, but also like the shrimp diablo & chicken
We come here often, and every time, it's always been a good idea! This time, we grabbed a bite to eat after spending a few hours swimming and relaxing on the beach, so we chose to take advice out their outside eating area. Unfortunately, we were done right before the live music was scheduled to play
Soo cute, outdoor seating right by the water. Very colorful beachlike decor. Sat outside for dinner and came back for breakfast. Both were excellent!!!
This is a neat restaurant in a great location within walking or biking distance from the Jekyll Island commercial district where the hotels and shops are located. We ate outside in the tiki bar area and enjoyed the atmosphere and the water view. I enjoyed the tropical vibes. Who knew you could get
We asked for dining recommendations at a local attraction, and the only restaurant she was familiar with was Tortuga Jacks. Bless her for the recommendation! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Everything was seasoned well, looked appealing, and tasted wonderful. We sat on the out
The best spot on Jekyll Island for great margaritas and beach view. They also have live music but not sure on which days. Def sit on the bar if you can find a spot there. House margs are cheap here considering being on an island and they don’t give you hangover the next day. The food are typical cha
While riding bikes on Jekyll we ran into Tortuga Jacks on the beach-side trail, just as we needed to stop for a drink of water. The lanai tiki bar was the perfect stop. Overlooking the dunes, a perfect breeze was blowing as we ate our complimentary tortillas and salsa. We added a great tasting guac
