I have been taking my son to diners all over NYC with me since he was 1. He’s now 7 and we have recently moved to Jersey City. We weren’t crazy about the diners we visited until we stumbled upon this hidden gem. We have been here about 10 times now and it’s the same great experience every time. Eve

This place used to have really great food. The macaroni and cheese was made perfect but as the years gone by the quality of food has decreased dramatically. The mac and cheese is ok at best. My wife and I received great service, the food was warm, fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable and to top it all off they gave us 2 complimentary cornbread cake slice kind of thing that was spot on. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely love this place I don’t live in New Jersey but every time I visit I have to stop at Larsons from the cornbread to the grits everything is just phenomenal!! I wish I lived closer I would go here every day!!

Food is always worth the trip.. but they're understaffed. Watched 2 women bust it from tables to phones to walk in orders. Your patience will be rewarded if you have it.

This place has the uttermost buttery soft, sprinkled powder sugar goodness named "cornbread." It looks like a specially crafted warm golden muffin, made specially for one. I love it!! The Larsen Special english muffin with Taylor ham and cheese, a homemade delicacy. Must come in with an empty stomac

I'll never go to this place again. These people here charged me the bill before they gave me my food. I was so embarrassed, it's like they thought I was going to skip out on the bill or something. Definitely Do Not Recommend this place at all!

Local diner Go-to just off Bergen. Ladies are super friendly, great vibes and service here. I really miss places like this. It's very throw back feeling of those Sunday mornings we went to the Diner after Church with our Uncle's. Must try for sure if your into Period Diners, and Americana past. Stil
