Typical food done great! From Buffalo Chicken Wings, Peach & Apple Salad, Cajun Shrimp Taco to Cajun Shrimp Pasta, all excellent. In particular, the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and Cajun Shrimp Tacos were best we've had. Not overpowering with Cajun spices but just right. Service was exceptional as well and located minutes from municipal parking and int heart of Jim Thorpe. Oh yeah, the band at the bar area was also very good! Highly recommend.
First time here, we got the Broadway Burger & the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. The burger was okay. The grilled cheese was amazing though. We have been craving it ever since. We will be back for that specifically. The sweet potato fries we got were a little cold. The seasonal fall alcoholic beverages were great! I loved the Warm Apple Pie drink.
Excellent choice to sit down and grab a drink or bite to eat. The food is fresh & well-prepared and the service was fast & friendly, but the real draw is the atmosphere & entertainment. The quality of the live music performance I enjoyed here was exceptional, and the decor feels like it's from another time — in all the best ways. An interesting mix of travelers and locals mingled around the street level bar where I contentedly picked over an early dinner and chatted with friendly strangers. Occasionally, a child's head would pop over the railing of the second story dining side and peer down curiously at the bustling bar. I was a bit sad to leave when it was time for me to pack up and head back to Philly — it was an experience to remember.
My wife and I were taking a leisurely trip back from a long weekend visiting a friend a few hours away and decided to check out the fall foliage train ride in Jim Thorpe, PA and then take a walk around the town. It was getting on toward dinner time so we stopped in at this place. They seated us even though we didn't have a reservation; fortunately it wasn't too busy despite this being a peak time for viewing the fall leaves changing. The food and service were excellent, as was the coffee. I had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and my wife had the bruschetta main course with pumpkin bisque. Our experience was an enjoyable one and the price was reasonable.
Overall experience was Wow. We were on a week long vacation staying in small towns in PA. Lititz was our last town. I probably had the best rib-eye steak in my whole life at this place. I don't usually take pictures of my food, but the flavor, service, and execution compelled me to do so. It's not easy on the wallet, but wow was it worth it! My compliments to the chef. Well Done!
Amazing local bar with great food and drinks. Old Fashioned was spot on and the Espresso Martini was one of the best I’ve ever had. Bruschetta was as amazing as it looked. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Jim Thorpe!
The grill & bar are housed inside the Inn at Jim Thorpe, yet also have street entrances for those not staying at the Inn. We enjoyed breakfast & dinner during our stay at the Inn. We took time to enjoy a cocktail in the Underground Bar. Both can easily be enjoyed while in Jim Thorpe.
The food was absolutely delicious! The Apple Mule drink was a great light refreshing drink. The roasted corn soup was beyond my expectations and the burger/sweet potato fries were delicious! Incredible staff/service and beautiful atmosphere!
We visited over the Thanksgiving break and everyone's super friendly and we loved every single bites! Such a lovely place >u<
It was my first time trying vegetarian noodles and I soon fell in love
Also very reasonable price!!
Great little place. Had the French dip, delicious. Good service. Small, gets crowded when there's a concert next door.
I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend got the broadway burger. Both were delicious and one of the waitress was soo helpful. I asked if they had pumpkin flavored coffee, she said they didnt but she can see if she can add pumpkin puree to my coffee and it was soo good. Thank you soo much. Too bad I dont live here cause I would come more often.
The food here is amazing. I ordered the meatloaf with brown gravy, veggies and sweet potato fries(I substituted it from the regular potatoes). The fries with the maple dipping sauce is seriously the best combo I’ve ever had. The dip is addicting. It’s a 10 out of 10 for sure. The brown gravy is amazing as well. My meal did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich which I of course sampled and OMG it’s literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is so soft and delicious. I’m not a huge bread person and this made me want to become a bread lover 😂. Definitely would come back here again.
First time in Jim Thorpe and we needed a quick lunch. Broadway grill is located a block from the train station and right below The Inn. It's a large restaurant with numerous tables, booths, and high tops. Attached to it there is a bar area with additional seating. We got served quickly and our server was wonderful: friendly and professional. We ordered a split pea soup, a chicken sandwich, and a pulled pork sandwich with truffle fries. I am not a fries lover at all but the truffle fries were really good and "truffle-y" which I loved! The pulled pork was tasty albeit a bit dry but the bbq sauce on the side complemented it nicely. The chicken sandwich was big with a nicely sized chicken breast, a lot of avocado, and a couple of slices of bacon. Overall the plants are big and satisfying and the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy.
They offer dinner and breakfast as well.
Ate several meals here - both breakfast and dinner - while staying at the attached inn. The food was wonderful, the drink selection and drinks themselves were both great, decor, vibe, atmosphere, all much appreciated.
I also can't say enough times how excellent the service was (thanks Devon!). I'd give her 6 stars if I could! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
