Amazing veggie pizza and calzone pizza. We liked the quantity of food offered. Small size offering is good enough for 2 people. Also, I liked friendly people at this place. Be aware sometime google map can lead you to wrong place due to hilly terrain.
Pizza was good. A little greasy for my taste, but it does have the unique flair one hopes for in a local pizzeria. Service was friendly and efficient despite the business of the lunch rush.
Physical facilities are a bit run down, though as far as I’m concerned, that contributes to the local feel.
We had a medium red pizza with eggplant. We added some crushed red pepper and garlic. It was delicious. The Chicken Caesar Salad had high-quality chicken that was grilled to perfection. It was an excellent meal.
Best pizza we’ve ever had! Perfectly floppy crust but not soggy. The most beautiful cheese pull. Just enough sauce. Friendly and fast service. Good price. Just all around great! 🤌
Jolly staff and quick service. Hoagie tasted fresh but there wasn’t a lot
of turkey. Very tasty!
I ordered a half buffalo half pepperoni pizza and fries and it was sooo good. Very cheesy and the dough is nice and crispy. Pretty good pricing, nice staff, and food didn’t take long to come out either, would definitely recommend!
My husband and I had a house salad and small pie which was perfect for 2 people. Pizza was very good.
I come from NY, so this compares to some of the very good pizza places in NY.
The staff was friendly and service was quick.
The atmosphere was poor. The restaurant needs upgrading. Ceiling tiles missing, paint peeling and stained glass cracked.
I stopped in for lunch after a little hiking and exploring the town. It’s a small local pizza shop. By far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Very delicious! Ate the whole small by myself.
This was a solidly good Italian restaurant. They appeared to offer take out up front, and had a seating area in back, as well as a bar section. They did not have fountain drinks, only bottled and canned beverages, which I didnt know when ordering, since I wanted a glass of water and a Dr. Pepper, but ended up paying for both a can of Dr. Pepper and a bottle of water. My son had a cheesesteak which was really dry he said. I had a small stromboli and it was really good. We also had a large order of fries, but they were too undercooked and soggy for me, but maybe some people like them that way? Service was friendly and as quick as could be, considering the place was mobbed from some of the 850+ people who arrived at the same time on the special steam train. The bathroom wasn't the nicest, but it was clean enough for me.
While visiting Jim Thorpe stopped at this pizzeria for lunch. Ordered a small pizza that happens to be good in size. Also ordered spicy shrimp with fries they were amazingly good too. Food quality was great cooked everything fresh and super hot. The place could be a little better, for seating arrangements or look wise, but food taste beats all so I guess all worth it.
I will definitely recommend go eat at this place.
Possibly the best pizza we’ve ever had. We popped in on a whim during vacation and the next year when we passed through we made it a point to come back and it was just as good as we remembered.
Calling all New York natives! This spot is the real deal bro. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by for a great time.
They know how to serve hearty helpings. Calzones are huge & delicious. The auroma from inside draws you from outside. Stop by the Bar on Broadway, connected to Antonio's, say hello to Andrea, she's a jewel!
We went for breakfast & it was worth the wait! everything was great- our server was the ONLY one working in the restaurant at the time but he did a very good job at keeping up with everyone & everything! honestly the best service we got all weekend!
