Service was incredible!!! Food was delicious!!! The restaurant itself is beautiful. Loved the addition of pothos and Chinese evergreens everywhere. Greenery always makes a place look twice as gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was outstanding, wish I had jotted down here name. Calamari was fried to perfection, $3 mimosa was good too. Falafel was deep fried to a highly puck consistency though seasoned well. Bathroom could definitely use some attention. All in all no better than average.

First visit to this cute little place. Staff was very friendly. Good music. Nice patio area which is great for families. Fairly extensive menu so everyone can find something they like at extremely reasonable prices. Sampled the chicken wrap. It was fabulous. Fresh veggies and chicken wrapped in extremely fresh naan-like bread. Also had the pizza. Great flavor with quality ingredients. Cheese was very tasty not greasy. Only thing that could have been better was if it had been cooked a bit longer- bottom was a bit soggy. But flavor was world class. Calamari had good flavor, excellent spices but very overcooked. Tasty but more like jerky in texture. Drinks were fabulous- hats off to the bartender. Overall great visit.

Mad Greek has lots of options. However its this same reason that their food isn't the best. They are good at a lot but not great at anything. A lot of things were plain and not cared for well. The cakes were dry and too sweet. They had a few items which were good. But nothing great. Definitely not the 4 stars it has. That's why it gets a 1 from me. Its more of a 3 star restaurant.

This place used to be a staple of my diet when I went to Johnson City for work. The food really seems to have fallen off and/or changed ever since the pandemic hit. The servers are still always great. I've never waited for a seat for more than maybe ten seconds. It's really just the food that's so disappointing compared to what I had come to expect. I'm not sure what changed, but even the moussaka is way different. It's still convenient, and filling for a fair price if you're staying at the Sleep Inn. However, it's not really worth going out of your way for.

Excellent care for the food. Not the best Mediterranean I have had but very good and will not disappoint. Definitely go here and AVOID BABLYON. this even has gluten free pita! And it tastes good! Definitely go here and the gyro meat is yummy

Large portions, friendly staff and plenty of seating in and outside. Had the Greek chicken..yum. split the hummingbird cake with 2 other people it was that large.

Food wasn't very flavorful. Quite oriented, considering portion size and lack of flavor. We tried a large variety of menu items, from appetizer to main dishes. Place was clean and Waitress was terrific. But, we won't go back

Our food was delicious, generous portion sizes, clean and great waitress. Was not impresses with the lemon blueberry cake , it was very dry. Thought it was rather expensive.

First time & will definitely return! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the very attentive staff. The menu is quite varied and offers an excellent selection of ethnic and American options.
The Avocado Eggrolls with honey cilantro dip were amazing! The Spanakopita Platter was excellent! I had it with the Greek style potatoes and steamed broccoli and it comes with a small side salad as well. Very filling!
The Blackberry Sangria was a wonderful choice as well, served with orange slices, it was surprisingly refreshing!
Highly recommend this restaurant!

My friend and I stopped for lunch after having had pedicures. We were both famished. We both ordered the Turkey Cranberry Sub and french fries with the feta cheese and oregano topping as well as coffee. The sub and fries were fabulous and filling. The coffee had a metallic taste to it which 3 creamers made it more drinkable but not great. My friend ordered a piece of Italian Cream Berry Cake which she absolutely loved. So I ordered two pieces of the same cake to take home. Our server was very attentive and polite. Other than the sub par coffee it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would have rated our visit a 5 but for the sub par coffee. We will eat here again.

Stopped in Johnson City on our road trip. Decided to give the Mad Greek a try - especially when seeing the vast number of cars in the lot, indicating a popular place. They are not afraid of the vodka! Vodka cranberry juice was just right! Fresh calamari with banana peppers. Perfect accompaniment as well as the wonderful marinara sauce. I had the gyro plate and my friend had the Mediterranean shrimp. Both excellent! We took our desserts to go cause there was no way we were going to pass up one of their beautiful desserts! Worth driving off of interstate 40!
