They have the best soft serve ice cream. I highly recommend going here. Really good prices too for the sizes you get.

Grew up going here! The ice cream is really delicious and they know how to sprinkle a cone. I always make it a point to stop by when visiting home! Haven't found anything that compares.

I have been going to Shaffer's Frosty Freeze all of my life! I took my parents there when they were alive, took my son there until he got old enough to drive himself there, all of my family have always and still do go there! Best flavors! I got to know the whole family as I went there and they are such terrific people! :-)
Especially teaberry! And it was a "destination," not a stop on the way to . . . There were periods my family went every night. Or was that wishful thinking?
Excellent service. I had the peanut butter yogurt. It was good. The ice cream cones are huge.

Great ice cream. Changes the special flavors each week and the good original flavors stay. Huge portions. So sharable sizes for the sundaes and banana splits.
Visited summer 2021 and very happy with ice cream selections. Ice cream quality is superb, huge serving, staff are very efficient and polite. Here it is almost March 2022, and can't wait to get an ice cream! 😋
I am from over an hr south of this place. Saw it while out and stopped in. Asked for two twists. Large. My eyeballs almost popped out of my head when i saw how HUGE they were. The two were only $5.09. This is like a large on steroids from where i come from. Took longer to eat than waiting in line to get them. Very friendly staff. CASH ONLY. Large parking area. A few picnic tables. Deff worth stopping in if your in the area. Was well worth the time to stop in. Just keep size in mind when ordering lol.
