La Mex - Joliet - Photo album

This is a great place to come out to celebrate any special occasion. The outside patio with a fireplace is a nice way to enjoy the few summer days in the midwest. The interior is set up like an hacienda and is very easy to accommodate almost any size party, the way the dining room is sectioned off.
Update !! Yesterday we gave this restaurant one more try . The food tasted worse than the last visit . None of us actually finished the food . Good restaurant , nice atmosphere. I had Fiesta Chimi it was hot, fresh and delicious. My husband got their Spinach Chicken enchiladas and he as well liked i
We came yesterday it was awesome! We talk and talk and drink, drink, drink!!!!! Our server was amazing always friendly and smiling. If you’re good, you’ll receive a good tip like her. Thanks for everything more waitresses like you. See the ticket and extra cash too! Amazing amazing service!!!
When me and my daughter first arrived at the restaurant the outside looked promising. Once we stepped inside it went downhill fast from there. The lighting in the place is very bad. It was so bad we had to use the flash on our phone to read the menu. We got the usual chips and salsa. Nothing special
We ordered food to go and my husband picked it up and didn't checked the bag until he got home and unpacked the food. My guacamole dip became a regular salsa and my 2 steak tacos on corn tortilla came with NO steak and NO rice and beans!!! Like really, who orders tacos with just cheese and lettuce??
Get the Chili Rellenos. Best I've ever had. Those are difficult to make and most places just can't. A+++ ! House Margaritas ARE STRONG.($10) Service was extremely fast. The pre dinner nachos are so-so. Tacos were bland n so were the chicken enchiladas. Restaurant is VERY dark. Will return. No custom
Food was way too oily and low quality meat. They started using cheaper meats. Steak fajita see in picture was just chunks of fat and not strips of steak. Tasted like cheap beef and not steak.
My boyfriend and I traveled up to Joliet, Illinois to do some shopping and other fun stuff. We stopped off at La Mex for dinner and it was delicious! The waitress we had was very nice and our dinner was brought out quickly. I had two frozen strawberry daiquiris and they were amazing! Highly recommen
